If that Baltimore defense is flying around like it was today for the most part I seriously don't like Tennessee's chances. Hell, the first time they played early in the year when the Titans were on a roll they only won by 3. I don't know about San Diego's chances in Pittsburgh. Sproles won't have as easy a time against that D. Sproles didn't have an easy time last night either; he just hit some open field. I agree, the Steelers have a tough defense, but I wouldn't be surprised if Sproules is able to find running room and make a big play. Having said that, I don't see him getting more than 100 yards on the ground.

If I had to predict right now before we hear about any injuries, I say it's Pittsburgh over San Diego (Sproles won't sneak up on them), Carolina over Arizona (too much ground game for Arizona to handle), NY over Philly (not the way Philly played today. Also, what O-line were you watching Backlund? All I saw was the Vikings DE make Tra and Runyan their personal 40 year old bitches and an inside line that couldn't get a push to save their lives) and Baltimore over Tennessee in the upset (Baltimore played like a team that is in it, plus Tennessee just didn't look so great at the end).

The Vikes finally started to get some penetration late in the game, but count how many 3rd down conversions McNabb had all day. It was a lot and the Eagles line only started to get worn down when the Vikings couldn't sustain a drive to save their.....well....season. The pocket he had for the better part of the game was uncomforting.

I read today that DeAngelo Williams' and Jonathan Stewart's combined total of 2,351 is the highest total in the NFL in the last 24 years. It's also the 8th best of all time for a pair of teamates. All the other duos in history included Hall of Famers O.J. Simpson, Jim Brown, Walter Payton or Eric Dickerson.
That along with the fact that they are only the 4th pair of teamates to rush for 10+ TD's in a season is awesome to me.

Bring on the freaking Ratbirds. It really feels just like the 2000 season all over again for the Tennessee Titans and I thought I would never see the day how everything just matched up so perfectly for redemption and pay back to get on those Ratbirds. I know fore sure the Titans wanted this game for many reasons. If this is not the GOTY then its going to be pretty close.

Kellen Clemens says he is "ready" if the Jets part ways with or announce the retirement of Brett Favre this offseason.

Ravens defensive boss Rex Ryan strongly indicated following Sunday's win over Miami that he wants to be a head coach in 2009.

The Panthers are going to run all over <insert team here> and make it to the Championship Game.
That is, unless the <insert team here> comes with a rush defense that can stop them.
Mr Delhomme, please practice this week. Please.

Rush defenses can't even stop D-Will and J-Stew! PANTHER HYPE MODE ACTIVATE! NOT EVEN SUPERMAN CAN STOP THEM!
Jake's gonna bring it like he always does in the playoffs. The Ragin' Cajun!

Uh, Meat, I know you weren't just insulting Jake Delhomme whom is pretty much Mr. Playoffs. The guy is 5-2 with the third best Postseason QB Rating in history. Everyone throws INTs.
All Jake ever does is win games and constantly get a ration of shit for it. I'm sick of it.

Did the Panthers win the Super Bowl last year? And why was that? Just the cynic in me. I love them, and am a big homer for them, but I also know reality... and reality says that they aren't crushing opponents this year as they have in years past. Sure, the stats look good, but to me, this team couldn't beat last years team. INT Jakey Jakey, about to make a mistakey.

We didn't win last year.... because Jake was hurt all year long and we had no running game. The only fault Jake has in last year was the fact that he didn't play because of surgery! We've never crushed oppenents! What are you talking about? We didn't come to be known as the Cardiac Cats for no reason. Our Points Per Game average this year is the highest it's been in a LONG time.
