A week after firing Bruce Read as special teams coach, Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips has found a replacement in Joe DeCamillis, KTVT-TV (Ch. 11) reported. DeCamillis, the son-in-law of former Cowboys player and assistant Dan Reeves, spent the last two seasons as Jacksonville's special teams coach and had been an assistant with Phillips in Denver and Atlanta. DeCamillis has run special teams units since 1993, with the New York Giants (1993-96) and Atlanta (1997-2006) under Reeves before moving on to the Jaguars.

OU's Sam Bradford is contemplating entering the 2009 draft.
If he does, many analysts are predicting the Lions(if they were smart) would take him with the first pick overall.

am I the only one who thinks that Arizona has a legit shot against the Panthers this weekend? Well the Panthers are 8-0 at home this year. So for the Cards to win, Warner will have to play the game of his life. However, you can never say never. The season both Denver and Pittsburgh went into the divisional round as HUGE underdogs and ended up upsetting and humbling the Colts and Pats like in Old Country, attests to this.

am I the only one who thinks that Arizona has a legit shot against the Panthers this weekend? They were in control for a good portion of their first game, but couldn't seal the deal. At this point, I don't give them much of a shot unless Warner goes totally nuts.

Just reported on ESPN, Pacman has been released by Cowboys. Good deal, it was a useful one season experiment, it failed, and they pulled the plug. Good.

am I the only one who thinks that Arizona has a legit shot against the Panthers this weekend? I could see it happening definitely, but I think the odds are in favor of Carolina. If for no other fact than AZ has to make the trip east.

Well, there's a good reason to finish schooling. True. But Bradford IS eligible. He is a 3rd year Sophomore, and to be in the draft you need to be out of high school for 3 years.

am I the only one who thinks that Arizona has a legit shot against the Panthers this weekend? If the Cardinals play like they did last week then they have a shot. But they have to play great run defense and they have to be able to move the ball on the ground effectively. If they play like they did in December, then they'll be done before the half.

And the new coach of the Cleveland Browns is............................. Eric Mangini He's not working with Mike Tannenbaum, so that may solve some of his issues that were seen in NY with the Jets (who are still going to be in a bad spot with that idiot pretending to be a GM for them), but its odd Cleveland decided to not only try the Bill Belichick leftovers route again, but hire him before they had a GM in place..... ....Unless Pioli is going to show up and this was previously discussed before he decided to kick the tires with KC.

Didn't cost them much, and they got a draft pick back I believe because of his suspension. He was average at best and a lousy punt returner. Glad he's gone.

I think the biggest deciding factor in Pacman's release was his very poor performances in key games, ESPECIALLY the Eagles game. He fumbled HOW many times?

Apparently there's going to be an OTL report coming soon where Jones allegedly hired a convicted murderer to shoot someone outside an Atlanta strip club back in June 2007.
Hopefully he goes away for a very long time.

I'm just glad to see they recognize that fact they didn't get their money's worth, even though it was low risk, and did the right thing.

Yikes...how bad is the Patriots secondary, that I'm reading this news and still managing to think in Stephon Marbury-style "Well...it can't hurt to try" mode?
