According to the National Football Post's Michael Lombardi, Julius Peppers is "nowhere close to a new deal with the Panthers and will undoubtedly be franchised." His jersey is one I will purchase... so he has to stay in Carolina, and stay happy there. |

I think he'll work something out. He's lived and played in NC his whole life. Middle school, High school, college and pro. He's a shy, small-town guy on top of that. Maybe not this, year but he'll work something out.
Of course, I'm the idiot that thinks love of the game, loyalty, team, and a connection with a fan base actually means anything anymore.
