This makes his "Heroes of Wrestling" debacle pale by comparison.
I wouldn't be surprised if he was brought up on charges, especially for exposing himself.
And I wonder if he got paid in advance for his appearance. I hope not. I certainly wouldn't want to pay him after that crap.
Sadly, it looks like no amount of rehab is going to cure Jake of his demons. We've been through this how many times already? He seems destined for an early death from all the drug and alcohol abuse.
But I do stand by my original assertion that Jake should be required viewing for all new wrestlers. Demons aside, he cuts some of the best promos in the business (when he's sober). Plus, new guys can see what can happen when you abuse drugs and alcohol too much.

Grossly disappointed to read about this, but as sad as it sounds, I was pretty much waiting for it to happen.

Early? Compared to some of the other guys who have died young, he's an old man compared to them. I mean f*** he out lived guys like Eddie, Pillman, Bulldog, etc.

What would possess a man to whip out his weiner and shake it in front of all those people, especially children?

What would possess a man to whip out his weiner and shake it in front of all those people, especially children? Heavy amounts of drugs and alcohol.

This is disappointing. I hope that, one day, he finally manages to get things in order. It's difficult for someone to overcome something so strong and it's frustrating for those around him, surely, as well as his fans. Still, did you see the DVD WWE put out? I mean, how could he not have turned out this way? I pity him. I really do.

It's dissapointing If Jake is using drugs again. If It's not drugs and he was just acting crazy and disrespectful, then I don't really care. I wouldn't even disrespect Jake the way this other guy did anyway, unless it was definitely because of drugs. I heard him say that he was trying to do the right thing and give the fans an entertaining show, but I'd be willing to make the argument that the contrast from Jake's big name to this nobody is so big that Jake just stumbling around the ring and acting crazy would be a better show for the fans than anything that other guy could have done.
If It was drugs, then I completely inderstand, and that's a horrible shame. But if it wasn't drugs, then I say that It wasn't such a big deal. It could have just been Jake acting 100% unprofessional.
Also, If it was drugs, then I still wouldn't get mad. A man's life is worth more to me than the possible screwing-out-of-money of wrestling fans at a wrestling show. If Jake's habits are endangering the lives of other people, then give him no more chances, but If he's just damaging himself, the guy still needs help. I don't care how many people want to give up on him, my overdue convienience still wouldn't be worth someone's life.

I don't know how big a deal this is. If you book Jake Roberts, you may get to see one of the all time greats show he can still put on a good match. Or, you may get a train wreck. Train wrecks are entertaining too. Like it or not, that's the Jake Roberts experience. You don't just get the perfomer. You get the whole man, and I don't know how different they are. Maybe this company didn't get the match they wanted out of Jake, or maybe they got more. When you book Jake, the x factor is part of the package. And the X factor is the main reason Jake (and all the others who have the proven tendency to perform wasted every other day) shouldn't be booked to begin with... A trainwreck can be entertaining, if it's a Jackie Gayda-style trainwreck. But if it's an old man showing up drunk/drugged up, in no conditions to perform, and who ends up exposing his merchandise to the crowd, well... it stops being funny long long before The Snake makes its appearence. Jake has been in rehab how many times? How many times did he drop the ball again? Is there a limit of Second Chances he can get, after it's been set in stone he'll NEVER change? That's it for me... If I pay to see a Legend, as old and "has been" as he may be, I still expect a certain standard. Or at least a respectable try. Or something that wouldn't make me lose every ounce of respect for the MAN, in addition to that for the performer.

This certainly seems out-of-character for Jake. I got a good feeling this is smark bait.

You do realize there are 3 videos documenting the event, right? News to me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmRTg6l_A2AThat's the big one, though the video is poor quality. I'll dig up the other two links. One is a much shorter version with slightly better quality, and the other is a video of the argument that happened outside: EDIT: www.pwpix.net/pwpixnews/headlines/223360389.phpEDIT2: Forgot to mention, this isn't a first for him. Google "Heroes of Wrestling". He did virtually the exact same thing there, except for exposing himself.

You sound like you really know your stuff, but I think I'm going to give Jake the benefit of the doubt here. He seems like he's got his stuff together. Maybe he has allergies or something of the like?
