If theres anything to be learned by these players who've done roids is just admit it, and chances are it will go away. The guys who have fought it are going to jail. and the ones who vehemetly denied it look ridiculous. Brian Roberts is one guy who comes to mind that admitted his mistake as soon as word got out. He didn't try to deny it, he admitted his fault, and he's moved on. You never hear about Roberts name during steroid discussions. Then again, Brian Roberts isn't Alex Rodriguez, Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, etc. If Roberts had lied about it initially and later was proven to be a liar, I'm not so sure he would've been chastised as much as these other guys are. The stars, the big name players, are held in much higher regard when it comes to the discussion of steroids. They take much more heat and they deal with much greater consequences in terms of media/fan reaction. Whether it's fair or not, who knows. But it comes with the territory. I think in all this, it's just disappointing to hear as a baseball fan. As a Red Sox fan, I can't help but find it a bit humorous. But as a baseball fan, it's upsetting because you realize that anyone can do it. Hell, I'm wouldn't be surprised if Griffey was doping at one point or another. It's like when your parents were so upset with you as a kid, they'd say, "I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed". That's 10x worse. There are a lot of people to blame for all this. Starts with A-Rod, but Donald Fehr, Gene Orza, and countless others in the baseball community for allowing this culture of steroid abuse to continue for as long as it has. I still love the game, but this is damaging stuff for it's credibility. I was thinking more of Giambi and Petite. Although Giambi's apology was vague it kinda sewed it up and people have let him be. He's a former MVP, you'd expect him to be lumped in with the rest. Petite admitted to it and Clemens should have come out right then and also admitted it. Pettite and Giambi skated fine, Clemens is looking at jail.

On the plus side it doesn't seem any Pittsburgh Pirates are going to mentioned. We may suck, but we suck legitimately without steroids!!!

That would be really useful to create future stadiums, like Target Field and Cisco Field. Or they could just have future stadiums as unlockable features.

Still 2 mediocre first basemen don't taint the Pirates achievement as being the worst franchise in Major League Baseball.

SI's Selena Roberts said that she would name no other players from the list of 104 major leaguers who tested positive for steroids in 2003.

She'll name A-Rod but no one else. What a crock of excretory matter. If you name one, name the rest. It probably means no one else on the list would command any headlines, and that's all they want.
