The first STF I ever saw was by Regal back in the pre-Nitro WCW... but I'll admit I never knew what it actually stood for until I looked it up on Wikipedia tonight. (Stepover Toehold Facelock)

So.......
It looks like the STFU will just be called the STF. And the FU will join Undertaker's Gogoplata in the "unnamed move" category for a while.

So now apparently the FU will be known as the "GOING FOR THE VICTORY!"

Well if he's going to call it by the proper name maybe he could start doing the move properly too My Wife....(Quite possibly the biggest Cena Mark, yet not really a wrestling fan/an obsessive wrestling geek) actually asked me why he just puts his arms around his opponent's head instead of wrenching the neck to apply pressure. 1. I love my wife for noticing this 2. I was dumbfounded as to why he doesnt just if not wrench the neck, turn his whole body slightly to put his opponent;s head in the crook of his elbow to at least give the illusion of wrenching the neck. 3. I would love it if someone did a STF, but the Facelock was a full Nelson, ala Stevie Richard's Rat-Trap

I actually predict they're going to do something similar to what happened with Undertaker's top rope walking clothesline becoming known as "Old School":
Undertaker (in his Biker days) started shouting "Old School" whenever he'd go for the move. The announcers eventually followed along, and the name stuck.
I predict something along these lines happening with the FU. The announcers will claim he's "Going for the victory", and the move will eventually just be called "The Victory".
Or Cole starts screaming "VINTAGE JOHN CENA", and the move eventually being called Vintage. (*inserts WC boards exploding here*)
