It's not exactly new because he was on two weeks ago and they called the team CM Punk......
But a Punk Edge feud over Edge's decidedly non- Straight edge lifestyle would be awesome, and then some Caban vs Christian action........I think I'm drooling a little.

Punk has bulked up a bit, and he's got the look of the generic WWE wrestler nowadays.
Trunks, Tan, and tatoos

I'm not a big fan of the whole "Straight Edge" thing in general.

I'm not a big fan of the whole "Straight Edge" thing in general. Dude, dude, dude, dude, dude, dude, dude. It's a HELLUVA lot better than "Stutterin'" Matty Morgan or "Left Handed" Mark Jindrak. It's a gimmick Creative can WORK WITH and if WWE likes what he does on heAt he'll have a job in no time. This is actually WWE using it's dark matches and recap shows to develop future talent and "discover" new guys. Guy won't be able to use the Pepsi Plunge, but if he's on SD! he'll be a grand midcarder.

Whoa if they market Punk to the Old school Hardcore Punk enthusiast that'd be all weird...
They'd probably stick him in an evangelist Tag Team with Stevie Richards...
Hmm that'd be pretty cool actually..

Just a notice, Punk hasn't been signed, and this is far from being the first, second, or even third time he's worked a Heat/dark/whatever match for WWE.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were taking another chance to take a look at him, though.

I can't believe anyone would get a tattoo of the Pepsi logo!! How's he gonna explain that one in 40 years?

Does he live his "straight-edge" gimmick in real life?

It's like saying the bums Matt Morgan beats up on a weekly basis are WWE Superstars.

I'm not a big fan of the whole "Straight Edge" thing in general. Rehab does that to people...... Yeah, even when he's going to the bars with other wrestler's.....or so he says. True it's dumb but his Cobra tat is kinda cool...

Apparently that StraightEdge lifestyle doesn't refrain him from swearing. See below:
Bobby Heenan will no longer manage for Ring of Honor. He recently managed C.M. Punk, but didn’t appreciate his vulgar language.

I hear CM Punk likes to get a little frisky with multiple sex partners as well. Guess spreading STDs is better than having a beer though.

I don't like "holier than thou" people. I don't have a problem with people living a clean life, I just don't want to hear about everything that I'm doing wrong. There's a reason why CM Punk's character is that of a heel.

Does he live his "straight-edge" gimmick in real life? It's why he has the Pepsi tatoo; according to him, when he was younger, all the kids were getting tatoos of liquor companies, so he got a Pepsi logo, since it's his favorite drink. Punk's sXe about drugs and alcohol, but not about sex, considering he used to date Daffney from WCW, and now he's with Traci Brooks. And, um...are you sure Bobby Heenan said that? Heenan had to have seen ROH tapes before agreeing to appear with them, and I can't imagine he didn't hear any swearing in the tapes he saw. That, and he's been on multiple ROH shows; you telling me he didn't hear swearing then?

What a hypocrite. Pepsi's full of caffeine, the most commonly abused drug in America.

What a hypocrite. Pepsi's full of caffeine, the most commonly abused drug in America. Some groups of Edgers seem to allow it, at least the ones that aren't bat@#$% insane. Besides, there's always Caffeine Free Pepsi.

Besides, there's always Caffeine Free Pepsi. Yeah, but you'd have to be bat$h*t insane to drink it like that. No flavor

I can't believe anyone would get a tattoo of the Pepsi logo!! How's he gonna explain that one in 40 years? I guess the same way he explains it now. He's apparently doing a great job if you hate him so much.
