I can't believe he pie faced her, if everyone handled mad fans using old Memphis tricks then there would be less chaos

That took longer than usual. It does sound like the police don't have this too high on their list of priorities, but we'll see.

For the record, how many times have we seen reports of Orton being a dick to fans? Not just in the arena, not to mention his wrecking of hotel rooms and crap? Most people here don't seem to care.

That's precisely why it won't affect his push, especially given the mitigating circumstances. I mean Orton did get suspended during the peak of his douche phase. Jericho on the other hand is nothing like that and this is just an isolated incident that got a little out of hand, and from a legal standpoint is not that much different from a lot of drunken scuffles that happen on Friday or Saturday in a lot of cities. And in this instance no one seems to have been injured, hence the low priority police are giving it. Damn I really need to leave this thread as I was only planning to post once

I think this was an orchestrated event. Isn't it possible those specific fans were plants? I think that maybe WWE does things to get some attention. With Jericho needing a big spot going into WrestleMania and especially with Rourke possibly involved somehow, I think it makes sense to portray Jericho as an uber heel and plays that character 24/7.
When I met Jericho a few years back at an Apllebees, he was friendly and cordial and chatty. Even looked at my program and signed something. He was with Edge and Christian and Val Venis and he was the friendliest one.
I think it makes sense to have something like this happen. Gets some presss as Jericho as a big jerk.

They started it. Regardless of how stupid it was; I'm glad Jericho attacked those failures. Not to mention if there were that many people there going after him and he was able to leave unharmed, then those people are total weaklings as well as being absolute douchebags. Good lord, people suck. Guess it's a good thing I don't really give a crap about Jericho though, since he could be seriously screwed now.

Wrestlers are never seen to be wrong when it comes to altercations like this. ...unless it's Randy Orton Those of you complaining that Jericho is seen in a more positive light by some people after this need to realise that. I refer you to some people's opinions on the Benoit (it was actually brain damage with Kevin Sullican as the main culprit ) murders for example.

Wait, people physically attacked Orton and/or his property?

Wait, people physically attacked Orton and/or his property? No, but he's portrayed as somewhat of a rebel in whatever he does or does not do. It's the opposite of Jericho really, Jericho in my opinion got a free pass for what he did in that altercation, whereas if Orton got involved in something a lot more minor, he'd get burned at the stake.

Was thinking if the police aren't looking any further into the incident, I could see them using the footage on RAW tomorrow night.

Blur out their faces. Problem solved. That's what most companies do when someone doesn't give their permission to be on camera. I'm 50/50 on this.
On one hand, Jericho did have the right to get in the face of the fans since he was provoked (the fans first harrassed him by not letting him leave, and then one shoved the door on him which is provocation).
On the other hand, he had no right to spit in the face of people who don't want to be cool the woman after the altercation was broken up. He also had no right to shove and hit the security guard for not doing his job (which he did, just a bit delayed).
Either way, the most Jericho will get is a fine, along with the few fans who got in his face.

You don't get in entertainers face's. Especially when it seems like they're having a bad day, those snorkers picked and picked and picked at him, sooner or later or crack.
Some people think they're above all.
