Where that should clear up "whose at fault" debate. An article by THE SUN should clear up a debate? Ok... Forget the SUN I cleared it up on the last page. Jericho was provoked and surrounded at a frekin' stop sign, The couple clearly was out of line, and Jericho only reacted. I say leave it at that.

Just wondering, if they felt they were in the right, why flee the scene?

It's easy for us to sit here behind our computers in retrospect and make judgement. Unless It was me in that situation, as it happened, I can't say who is to blame.

Touching a car is not just provocation for a punch in the face. Sure, it can be to you, but from a legal standpoint it is not. Oh man, I'd love, love, LOVE to see how cordial some of the contrarians on this board would act if they were stopped and surrounded on their own free time while driving in a car and harassed and assaulted by a crowd of 50 screaming wrestling fans. Maybe invite them all back to your place for some kool-aid and jello squares while you have a polite chat about nonviolent mediation, right? Or maybe just stand and smile while they all spit and swear and slap you?

Chris Jericho can get a serious ticket for running through a stop sign!

Well that should clear up "whose at fault" debate. The couple fled the scene? If I was Jericho I would be so pissed... Yeah because the WWE has NEVER spun a story to make their talent and/or the company look better. Seriously, if anything Jericho fled the scene.

Yep. Do you disagree? If so, Why? I honestly think everyone's to blame here. Fans for being morons, Jericho for going too far, but mostly security for not doing their job. Like I said, it's an ugly situation either way. I don't blame Jericho for acting on instinct though.

Here's a third video that starts with him going to his car but still with the crucial moment that started with the whole thing missing:

Yeah because the WWE has NEVER spun a story to make their talent and/or the company look better. Seriously, if anything Jericho fled the scene. isn't that what you kept telling him to do anyways? At first, then he had to throw the first punch. The WWE "statement" says they were looking for the couple that fled the scene yet makes no qualms about Jericho leaving the scene. It's like a car accident, if you're involved in the accident, you don't leave the scene. If there is a fight and the cops are called, both parties have to stay. So no one can question the couple for fleeing if Jericho did the same god damn thing. It's a double standard.

If there is a fight and the cops are called, both parties have to stay. You'd have stuck around with that group of people? There were still people going after him! Also, how do we know security didn't tell him to get out of there?

I find the part where one girl says, "I didn't know he really was an ***hole." funny.
That's all I have to add.

Also, it looks like security may have been telling him to get out of there, at least the guy in the yellow security outfit, but this is a guess.. That's not my problem, my problem is that the WWE is acting like it was okay for Jericho to leave but yet were trying to get the name of the couple that "fled" the scene. It's a major double standard. "It's okay to leave the scene of an incident if you're a WWE Entertainer! But if the fan leaves the scene, we're going to hunt you down!"

Jericho fled the scene because he was being mauled by a group of morons. the couple left because they were afraid they'd get arrested. huge difference.
