Jericho could have.... I Don't Know.... STOPPED THE WOMAN FROM HITTING HIS CAR Seriously, put yourself in the situation. You like it if I go over to your home and HIT YOUR CAR??!? You just gonna sit there and take it? No, I would call the cops on your ass. Getting into a fight causes more problems than what they are worth, especially over a car that can easily be fixed. YOUR "EFFECTIVE" COPS ARE RIGHT f***ING THERE. THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. Ok, after that, he clearly sees it's a woman before he punches her. "And if we slow down here and adjust the angle by 53 degrees, we can see that she is, in fact, very cute. WHAT A MONSTER!" Who gives a crap what her gender is?

FYI, if someone comes at you in a violent matter and you feel threatened, you're allowed to defend yourself as you see fit. My friend is a cop and we just had this conversation a few weeks ago. If you're in a bar and you exchange words with a guy and he takes a swing at you, you have free range to beat the crap out of him as long as someone will back up the claim that the other guy did initiate force. If you step outside with the person and then fight then you're SOL because you're agreeing to combat. For the Canadians here, is it just like that in Canada (where the incident took place) or is the law more lenient or strict on battery cases? mostly depends on where you are (although i'm not an expert on this by any means) some places are more lenient on it than others... but i'd suspect its not too different from your neck of the woods

I didn't hear anyone get riled up when paparazzi was banging on Paris Hilton in the police car, or Britney Spears in the ambulance, or Heath Ledger being loaded in the coroners car Because no one respects paparazzi, for the most part, and people probably wouldn't give a excretory matter if they got run over by the cops, EMTs or coroners in question. So because no one respects them, and because theres a chance that officials can run them over and no one would give a damn, they have the right to do that to every other car?

Ok, after that, he clearly sees it's a woman before he punches her. I dont think he knew it was a woman until his fist connected. He brings an arm up to defend himself, and starts bringing his fist around mid turn. No chance to see who it was until after the fact.

Wow, okay man. If that's the way you live. Some people (believe it or not) would rather protect themselves. Rather then wait 30 minutes for the police to arrive. (After they've smashed my windows and dented your car)

How the hell was he supposed to react? He didn't start physically assaulting people until they assaulted him first. Is he just supposed to let them bully him around? Seriously, I want to know why anyone thinks this is remotely Jericho's fault. Because they're all suburbanites that have clearly never been placed in a crowded or volatile environment. Anyone in Jericho's situation would've done what he did. Period. Including get out of the car. Security failed hard. Deal with it. But KoOS won't deal with it, because that would imply being in the wrong. Yes, because I don't want to admit that violence solves all the problems in the World. Yes, because I don't want to admit that Jericho, our God almighty, can get away with punching and shoving security guards. Yes, because I don't want to admit that the only thing Jericho could do was punch, shove, and spit at people. Not all of us are barbarians and think that throwing fists can make problems go away.

I don't have a problem with anything up to and including "BOOM THE BITCH GOES DOWN" I have a problem with everything that happened after "BOOM THE BITCH GOES DOWN" He made a bad situation much worse after that by taking swings at everyone around. I see it as a reaction of shock after hitting the woman (which I assume was an accident). Doesn't make it right. But I don't think he was in the right frame of mind. No doubt, I'm not even saying I wouldn't have reacted in a similar fashion. I'm just saying he was in the wrong after he punched the woman. Even if "wrong" is really "right" or at worse excusable. Not sure if that makes sense, but its my take on things.

Here's the thing...what many wrestling fans don't GET is that...well...most WC fans know what I would say next. Anyway, even after the event, fans have no right in trying to put their hands on a performer. I mean, if that particular fan tried to put their hands or curse or slam a door on most any Hollywood actor/actress security personnel would have them on the ground or in jail before things escalated.
Sometimes fans take things too far. Wrestlers have a right, like any other person, to defend themselves if they have a fear of personall safety. That being said, here is my second point...I also think Jericho was playing up his role as a major heel. I mean, did you see how many security personnel were actually there? There were many people to stop the altercation. If you watch the video again, Jericho pops up in the middle of the blue-shirted arena security.
Bottom line...wrestling and the WWE are cool, but fans need to get themselves in check. Jericho is a heel on TV...not in real life. I met him at an Applebee's near Cincinnati after a SmackDown around 2000...he was one of the nicest most interested wrestlers I have ever met (he was a face at the time). He was genuine and wanted to hear what we had to say.
All I ask is...please do not pigeon hole wrestling fans as morons. I am not saying that things didn't transpire as written because I was not there. At any rate...I ask is...enjoy the SHOW.
That is all. Than you for your support.

Uhm, I'm pretty sure Jericho telling security to do their jobs and get the cops counts as calling the cops on your ass. Because no one respects paparazzi, for the most part, and people probably wouldn't give a excretory matter if they got run over by the cops, EMTs or coroners in question. So because no one respects them, and because theres a chance that officials can run them over and no one would give a damn, they have the right to do that to every other car? Right? No. But people would probably be more willing to overlook crimes against the despicable.

Security clearly needs tightening, that's for sure. If he'd been riding with Edge this would have been resolved much faster, spear spear spear.
Also the whole "Don't hit girls" thing.. she threw herself at him, I would have clocked her too.

Not by smacking a rental car which we don't even know how hard the smacking it was. It could have been a light smack or it could have been an Incredible Hulk smack. WE DON'T KNOW. All I know is that Jericho could have gone about things differently and not acted like some roided up carnie.
