ok i got to say first that i've never disagreed with a wrestlecrap induction before but i got to say RD if you really feel that Cena's album is garbage you obviously havent listened to 99% of the hip hop that was being made in 95, although its by no means an instant classic it is by far a bad album. All the tracks you wrote off are good tracks. I've got proper 100% hip hop fanatic friends who i've played that album to and they've rated it! considering cena is first and foremost a wrestler (sort of) this album is pretty much shit hot! Fred foxx obvioulsy did 99 % of the work on it but cena and the trademark are both good rappers with decent wordplay and flows. which is not easy to do! like i said i never normally disagree with the entries but before you introduce a rap album as crap you should probly learn a bit bout rap music first. dont mean to start a row but i really dont agree with you!

Your point is well-taken. RD and I discussed this over the phone last night and we pretty much agreed because....well, he and I aren't the hip hop target demographic. So many aspects of rap will be lost on us.
If you enjoy the album, that's great and dandy. Please continue to do so. It's only our opinion.

I have some Rap tracks on my IPod. Method Man & Enimem are a couple of examples. And that CD BY FAR is bad on all levels. Trust me. But Wrestlecrap is an objective thing. Some may be good to you, and some just stinks to high heaven.

I am way into hip hop...trust me, Cenas album sucks. Could it be worse? Of course...but just because the guy is a wrestler and his album isn't completely horrible doesn't mean he gets a free pass. If he was such a good rapper, he would have made more albums. Its not as bad as say, WWE Originals, but that doesn't mean it deserves any praise. Its like excusing the Marine for being an average action movie and Cena for being a crap actor because hes a wrestler. He still sucks at acting and the movie was still crap.

I never heard the whole album, but I have to say that this week's It Came From YouTube fails. I personally think that "I'm a Bad Man" is a pretty damn good rap, and as someone who watched the A-Team back in the 80's, I think Cena's video is downright awesome in so many ways.
I too would like to toss out the red flag and challenge this call.

Yea "InVINCEable" was released after K-Kwik was released from WWE the first time round. Theres alot more out there like (as many know here) Kamala's CD (which isnt too bad)

I thought the CD was pretty decent, definitely not something that is wrestlecrap worthy.

Whether it is bad or not is beyond the point for the WWE as long as It sells and sparks interest to bring more money into the company Also for the above poster asking shit hot= Excellent/very good. It's a slang British term used very often over here.

I didn't think for a minute that somebody would mention Diversity5. I remember hearing that the Nitro Girls were trying to reunite as a pop group that actually sang earlier this decade and saw a website for them as well. I heard a snippet of their song when I went to that website and it was kind of bad (Though I didn't mind it). Are there any other songs besides that one? I really want to hear them if so, just to see how bad they were.
As for Killings' album, I didn't think it was released, or maybe it was only sold on his own website. I know he was always a rapper, but I haven't heard any of his songs, and this is coming from a rap fan. By the way, shouldn't WWE Originals be on that list as well? There were some good songs on there, but some of the others flat out sucked.

Back to the "cashing in on fads" thing, if Hornswoggle releases an auto-tune pop album, I'm afraid my head just might explode.

As far as I know Diversity5 only had that demo made and that was it, just the 2 songs that appear on it which you can listen to via my site. Killing's actually has 2 albums, I don't have the 2nd on my site as I don't have accurate information on it. Both are only sold via NWA Wildside website and maybe his MySpace page.
