He does commentary with Sean Mooney for the LOD/Hart Foundation match on the Road Warriors DVD. I think it was from an earler Colesium release.

Wasn't he like the Ed McMahon to Bobby on the Bobby Heenan Show? Sat right next to him...or are the first signs of Alzheimers showing.

When I think of Alfred Hayes it was the Coliseum Videos commentary/skits, pulling the mic away from Stu Hart, and shilling items at end of the show. RIP Hayes. You were golden at times when I first started watching.

Greatest memory of the Lordship was when Piper was on a TNT show and he smacked Alfred around like a rag doll. That and those crazy Coliseum Video vignettes. I epically enjoyed the one where he had to go to Australia to search for the Bushwhackers that was some funny shizz!

That's too bad.I met him in 2002 at the Cauliflower Alley Banquet in Vegas. He was in a wheelchair but in good spirits.I remember him as a wrestler in the late 70's.He was a pretty rurhless heel.He worked with this masked guy & had a brief feud with the late Bulldog Bob Brown. About 10 years ago there was this short lived Wrestling organization called The AWF(I think) I belive it as the American Wrestling Federation. It was heaed by Sgt. Slaughter,Tito Santana was it's world champion & Lord Alfred was the Heel commentator.

"For more information on Coliseum Home Video releases, wrrrrrrite to:
Coliseum Video Post Office Box 1311 Fairfield, New Jersey O7ahdoubleO7"
I heard that at the end of countless wrestling tapes and actually still have it memorized. It's amazing what sticks out in a fans head and makes things memorable, but I will never forget the way he delivered that. Alfred was a true classic character in the history of WWE. RIP.

I remember him being a good sport about every situation he was put in, no matter how silly it made him look. I'll miss him.
RIP His Lordship (as Sean Mooney called him) Lord Alfred Hayes.

I don't know about the rest of you, but Lord Alfred passing makes me feel old. It really sucks to, hearing about all of the crap that he had to live through. Good to know that he's in a better place now.

Whenever anyone mentions his Lordship, I always remember the commentary during a match between Bulldog and Warlord (take your pick out of which one)...
"Aaaand what upper body strength by the British Bulldog!"
Dunno why that comes to mind.
RIP Sir and thank you for the memories.

Anyone remember the sketch on Prime Time Wrestling when he played a corpse on stretcher who had...growth in the groin region?
