Yeah, this probably does indicate that he'll be winning the World Title some time in early 2010. They don't usually give DVDs to wrestlers who they have no plans to give the title to.

I hope they put some of his OVW stuff with MNM on the DVD.
OVW-MNM was some of the most amazing stuff I've ever seen from a developmental territory. If only MNM had retained their comedic excellence when they moved up to the main roster, because if they had, I think they'd have been even better, comedy-wise, than the In Crowd was.

Why does someone have to be around for ages to get a DVD? Not all wrestler DVDs have to be a nostalgia trip. I'm sure if WWE did a CM Punk DVD right now, it would go over great. Remember all of those wrestler-specific VHS tapes from the mid-'80s/'90s? They were putting out Diesel and Razor tapes, not Bob Backlund career retrospectives, ya know? I think there's a place for both kinds of releases. I'd rather have a John Morrison DVD sooner as opposed to later. If he gets to be a "legend," they can just make another one. Better to have too many DVDs than not enough, I suppose. Still, they really should do a Jericho one while he's still with them. The only reason I can see them not doing it is that so much emphasis on his old persona would take away from the character he's being portrayed as right now. I pretty much agree with this. I don't want just DVDs of the legends, I want DVDs of my favourites and that includes people who may never make it to the top or may make it to top but not be regarded as legend-worthy. In 5, 10, 15 years I'd like to be able to relive the careers of more than the very elite.

Hell, in seven years Cena's already had two and I guarantee will get at least two or three more, so where's the harm? Also - a February release might mean a Morrison Rumble win. I'd mark so hard if so.

I dont see why people care about DVDs anyways. If you dont like it dont buy it. Pretty simple.
Getting a DVD doesn't mean you are suddenly a Hall of Famer. It just means you are fairly popular and WWE thinks your fans will pay for it.

I just wish they'd put out some smaller two or even one disc sets when they release DVDs for current wrestlers. Price it at $9.99 (Like they did with earlier DVD 'sets') and I think they'd get a lot more buys. When you make it three-discs and price it up a little, it tends to reduce my buying interest, and I'm sure others would agree. Not everything has to be an epic 3-disc collection.

To be honest, he does have a decent story to tell up to this point. Started out on Tough Enough, where they'll probably go into, his introduction as Bischoff's assistant, MNM, transformation to John Morrison, team with The Miz, face turn, and now he's on the cusp of becoming the next huge superstar.
To me, it seems WWE sees big things for him in the future and are capitalizing by wanting to document his career progression as it happens.

I wanna see some MNM matches including the 4 way tag match ar Armageddon where Joey Mercury popped his face wide open that was an awesome match! But knowing WWE they'll be asking me who in the BLUE HELL is Johnny Nitro?

Its way too early, if Morrison gets a DVD where is the Christian DVD? Or STING DVD? Sorry but so many people more deserving of a DVD.

If I remember they gave Cena a DVD pretty early into his career. Lesnar as well. I believe Brock had won a title but I don't think Cena was past his US Title win.
