WWE have announced that they're releasing a John Morrison DVD in February 2010, and they want fans to send in questions to him that he'll answer on the DVD. Check out WWE.com for the details.

Nothing against John Morrison, but I think he's still a bit early in his career for that.

Here's a question:
What the hell have you done to earn a career DVD?

Hopefully it will have every single episode of The Dirt Sheet on it.

Here's a question: What the hell have you done to earn a career DVD? He won the ECW Title, Intercontinental Title, multiple Tag Team title reigns and, if I recall correctly, a pinfall victory over John Cena. Now, I don't think he needs a DVD right now. But, he has accomplished some major accolades in his short tenure.

And yet, Jericho still doesn't have one.

And yet, Jericho still doesn't have one. Aren't they currently working on one?

And yet, Jericho still doesn't have one. Aren't they currently working on one? Yes. As far as it being too soon, perhaps. However, Morrison is probably the only younger guy I can think of who already has had enough spectacular matches to fill a DVD with. So its nothing to complain about.

Sweet. But yea I do agree it is a bit early. They could wait a couple years.

With the way things are going, he could be a 5x World Heavyweight Champ by then time this is ready for release as well. Let's not forget they can show his time in Tough Enough and OVW as well.

Like everyone is saying, too early, but if it is heavy on matches, it should be really good. He's had tons of great free TV matches that have yet to receive a DVD release.

Plus I would rather they go ahead and do this now so we have more of his matches on DVD. This guy is just going to be putting out more classics for years to come, so its better to have as many as possible on DVD. If they waited another four years to do this the match selection process would probably be very difficult and a lot would have to be left out.

I'm a big Morrison fan, but I don't need a nostalgia DVD of his just yet, but I would actually probably pick it up if they throw in some stuff with him and Matt Cappotelli from Tough Enough III (show highlights, the finale, their RAW debut, etc.), but since WWE seems to enjoy ignoring the past history of their current superstars, I'm sure it won't make the cut.
Also, I'm thinking that this DVD guarantees a Morrison World Title push sooner rather than later right? I could definitely go for Punk vs. Morrison Round II.

Why does someone have to be around for ages to get a DVD? Not all wrestler DVDs have to be a nostalgia trip. I'm sure if WWE did a CM Punk DVD right now, it would go over great. Remember all of those wrestler-specific VHS tapes from the mid-'80s/'90s? They were putting out Diesel and Razor tapes, not Bob Backlund career retrospectives, ya know?
I think there's a place for both kinds of releases.
I'd rather have a John Morrison DVD sooner as opposed to later. If he gets to be a "legend," they can just make another one. Better to have too many DVDs than not enough, I suppose. Still, they really should do a Jericho one while he's still with them. The only reason I can see them not doing it is that so much emphasis on his old persona would take away from the character he's being portrayed as right now.
