It's starting to be like 2001-2004 over again when anybody who has wrestled a year and a half in the company is getting there own DVD! John Morrison has been with the WWE for four years.

I don't see the issue here. The company has always given video/dvd career retrospectives to either main eventers or, in Morrison's case, athletes that they're planning on pushing as main eventers regardless of how long they've been there for or been wrestling for period. Jericho and Kurt Angle both got videos after just 1 year in the WWF back in 2000.

I pretty much agree with this. I don't want just DVDs of the legends, I want DVDs of my favourites and that includes people who may never make it to the top or may make it to top but not be regarded as legend-worthy. In 5, 10, 15 years I'd like to be able to relive the careers of more than the very elite. I just wish they'd put out some smaller two or even one disc sets when they release DVDs for current wrestlers. Price it at $9.99 (Like they did with earlier DVD 'sets') and I think they'd get a lot more buys. When you make it three-discs and price it up a little, it tends to reduce my buying interest, and I'm sure others would agree. Not everything has to be an epic 3-disc collection. i agree

Nothing against John Morrison, but I think he's still a bit early in his career for that. Much like you said I also feel it is way to soon for a DVD package. I do not think it will sell well at this stage of his career. He is very lucky to be getting a DVD this soon.

Thats the thing though Jericho, Angle, and Lesnar. Were pushed and over huge their first year in the company. Morrison heel or face always seems kinda there, sure he's been with the company four years, but I really dont notist him wiether hes face or heel.

He's been there more that 5 years, does no one remember him as Bischoff's guy Johnny Blaze and then he became Johnny Nitro to suck up and he had an awesome titan-tron and came out to the WCW Nitro theme.
Plus they could put his 9 title wins as matches, his tough enough win and some OVW stuff and you got a fun little DVD.
