That was fantastic. I don't like the Miz and do like Morrison but i can't deny that those two have some of the best chemistry going with each other. I just hope the match lives up to expectations.

He's sounded a lil stumbly when he was 'rising to anger' to me, but has clearly showed improvement, so I liked it.

Related note, MAN did they repeatedly bury poor ol Marty. I know! I'm feeling bad for the poor guy. Great segment, all around. Miz is such a great fit for his role right now. He was born to be a douche.

Related note, MAN did they repeatedly bury poor ol Marty. To be fair, they were burying people of all sorts. Not to mention two people that hosted Raw recently in Al Sharpton and Nancy O'Dell. To me, it sounded like Miz lost it first, and Morrison just one-upped him in the anger department. So I don't feel that "when you lose your cool you've lost" argument holds water with Morrison. That being said, terrific effort by both. Miz got across that he really didn't want to be there, and Morrison got across how intense the match will be. It's promos like this that sell PPV buys.

Your last sentence there is my only problem with that entire segment. That Dirt Sheet segment should have been on NEXT week's Smackdown. You know, the Go-Home show before Bragging Rights. That segment is the kind that makes people want to buy the PPV despite the cluster-love-in of a main event that no one wants to see and an Iron Man match that everyone anticipates being a trainwreck. The Miz vs. John Morrison will probably be the best Wrestling Match on the card. And an intense but non-physical final encounter between the two as the last image a fan sees before the PPV might make more fans buy it.

I'm an odd sort, in that I think the Ironman match will probably be okay. They need to keep it interesting with multiple falls, though, and be more like Rock vs Triple H, rather than Brest vs HBK. As for the go-home show part, yeah, I agree, but I am sure they'll come up with something good for a tease to the next show.

Yep, very true. So I'm fully expecting just Miz and Morrison having a ho-hum match on their shows next week, and that'll be it. So, that's a bit of a downer.

Am I the only one who thought Bill is actually better than Ted? The unemployment line? The guy did Freaked!!
And this was a great segment, just because I love to see Miz getting owned regularly.

Awesome segment, really one of the best ones since the HBK/Undertaker on Smackdown back in April.

Meh..as usual with his promos, they always seem like he's reading directly from a script. Even here where he finally shows some emotion, it still seems like there is a cue card right in front of him. I just can't find him interesting. His character is just boring and his baby face routine doesn't match his persona..he should be a heel. I also think he needs a new look, I don't know what it is but he always looks too manufactured from the step/mcmahon factory of cookie cutter wrestling characters.

Miz is awesome. Jomo is not!
Seriously though, both are great, but this promo just makes me like Miz even more.

I thought the Dirt Sheet was awesome, but for Morrison his make fun of someone voice needs to stop. His serious voice at the end was really good. I DARE YOU! Was great in my opinion.

The two of them do their best work when they are working with each other. I agree with whoever said they need to main event mania one day - this should be a feud that continues for years and years.
I'd even go so far as to say it could be the next Rock/Austin.

I'd even go so far as to say it could be the next Rock/Austin. That might be a bit of a stretch, but really, who could ever have believed, from his first debut as the god-awful Smackdown host or whatever, that we're talking about the Miz in such postive fashion nowadays? I mean, I know this is a thread about JoMo, but I think way more people had him pegged as a future star than the Miz from their respective beginnings. Even though the Miz had the mainstream recognization from the Real World (which nobody even brings up anymore when talking about him, which is a real testament to him getting over on his own merits), nobody thought he was going to be a real player. And now this has the potential to be one of those great, drawn-out longtime feuds. Color me impressed.

I think, if you look back at the early days of Rock/Austin when they were fighting over the IC belt, I don't know if anyone imagined they'd be the two biggest stars in history. The fact is, over their years and years of feuding they made each other. Miz and Morrison have the potential to do the same.

The best part of the promo was Morrison trashing Raw. And he's right you know. Yeah Morrison could always do better on the stick, but like that ever stopped Jeff Hardy from becoming crazy over with the fans and mercandise stand. Prediction: Miz wins. He needs it more than the hot rocketing Morrison.
