Wow.
I don't mean the entire Dirt Sheet segment, as that didn't match up to their best, but when Morrison lost it and dared Miz to fight him, that was MONEY. I instantly wanted to see that match after the fire that Morrison showed that he has never shown in a promo before. Never knew he had that in him.

I actually didn't like it that much when he lost his cool. When two guys sit around, acting suave and doing some arrogant passive-agressive BS, and one of them flips, he's lost.

It was awesome. IMO Morrison stepped up last night, he needed something to push him up to that next level and I think he did it.
I think both men really benefited from that segment and I can't wait to see this match now.

Can someone post a video of the Dirt Sheet? I don't watch SmackDown, but am curious to see this.

Yeah, that was the next step for Morrison. He's an outside shot at the Rumble now I'd say.

Actually, it had exactly the opposite point - that casual smug oneupsmanship would NOT be enough at the PPV. I have high expectations for the match to be intense now.

Could only find it in 2 parts. Wow, anybody else notice Bill & Ted got a bigger pop than the Rockers? Not good to see Miz's catchphrase getting over. That's gonna get Estrada'd.

It was a lot better than watching paint dry.

What a truly awesome promo between them.
My only issue is that Morrison is completely unintimidating when he's angry-sounding. Long as he's cocky, conceited and lofty, his promos are gold though.

I liked his promo. But somehow his face didn't match his voice if you know what I mean.

I know what you mean-I was thinking the exact thing as I watched it...thinking;"I hope people that are there can't see his face too well, (even on the monitor at the arena) and are only listening to what he's saying"

The knock on Morrison was always his promo ability. If last night was a real indication he's getting there, I can only see him going further and further.
He could be champion by years end

It sounded like at any point during his angry rage there, he could forget what he was supposed to say, or trip up on his words. Like it was being barely held together, and at any point it could just turn into chaos. Sort of like when you're seeing a band play, and it sounds like at any moment the individual musicians could just totally fall out of sync. He's getting better though, and it was actually kind of fascinating.

I thought it was his best face promo, and I actually went from thinking it was just okay to completely buying into it when he got up in Miz's face and said "I dare you". I think that's been the key missing ingredient from John Morrison, intensity. I'm not saying he needs to go around pissed off all the time, but when someone gets in his face, he needs to get right back in theirs with more than just making fun of their name.
