Less than a full game? A 67-wrestler roster, Career Mode, RtWM Mode, CAW Mode, Highlight Reels, Custom Entrance videos, Community Sharing, Create A Finisher with new option, revamped matches, new matches, new backstage areas, and a Story Designer (in ANY capacity) is not a complete game? That is well-worth 60 bucks compared to what has been done in the past. You should be lucky they're letting us use created wrestlers at all. You forgot about the Superstar edit palate swap where you can make Pink Undertaker (The ultimate selling point on the back of the box.) Career mode sucks, I don't care what anybody says. |

Yeah, trust me, I thought Career Mode was awful in 2009 just like everyone else did. Just wanna wait and see how it is in 2010 before I go crazy over it.

IMO, Career Mode wasn't awful...Until your 10th match. That's when it really starts going to shit. Having to maneuver around abilities you didn't want became a pain in the ass. Taking out ALL the guys that had Dirty Pin or Possum Pin was a massive pain in the ass. It's one of those features that could get better over time with tweaking.

If there's one piece of good news to come from this incredibly short story mode/CAW limitation, it's this. As "Greggy" pointed out, you'll probably have to start-up a new Story to continue a storyline that has more than 50 non-wrestling segments. Now, of course, when that happens, we'll have ten more CAW appearances to use each time. So...  |

A Smackdown story involving Pink Attired Taker leading his minions of pink skinned (or attired, if it won't let you do skintone changes) zombies including Santino and Finlay. All while trying to figure out who the masked man is that keeps attacking you... (it's Great Khali) all the while defending the honor of an injured soldier and Stunt Granny. A "Road to WrestleMania" where you feud with Jimmy Wang Yang for months before getting slapped together to face Cryme Tyme in a match that gets bumped from WrestleMania to the SD after. |

Other than the CAW limitation the story creator mode looks BOSS And that's the worst part about it! The create a story boss looks great and like something I'd be spending hours on end with. The problem is that I almost exclusively use my caws in wrestling games and I'm out of the loop with current WWE storylines and wrestlers. |

I'm looking forward to creating an ECW Justice League (Hurricane, Christian, Dreamer, Yoshi or Shelton) vs Ruthless Roundtable (adding a created Burchill to that stable) storyline. Also making Batista and Swagger members of Legacy. Because a stable needs more than 3 members. The thing I'm looking forward to most after Create a Story is the addition of Scramble matches. It's been far to long since we've had time limit multi-man matches. |

Aki...Come back..Puh-Lease  And seriously, this story-mode-whatever-thing...The CAW issues..Any of the online stuff...it's kind of irrelevant to me. So I feel bad for people who were amped about it and let down..but honestly, I'm just dying for a Wrestling Game where I can just spend hours again on....Wrestling. 09's Gameplay wasn't bad..and I'm hoping this ones is better but eh.. |

I still like the idea, the intent of it. But I think people are missing the reasoning of why there's only 10 CAW appearances in this game.
WWE and THQ want you to play as their Superstars.
That's what really gets me about this whole thing. They don't want you using your wrestlers. Your Macho Man CAW's. Your Misawa CAW's. Your original wrestlers. They want you to play it safe. Play as Cena. Play as Batista. Make a storyline with Batista fighting Cena for the championship...no, wait, that's too risky, a good guy facing a good guy...make it Orton and Batista fighting, and Cena is the referee, and he helps out his good friend Batista to win. Yay, fun. everyone goes home happy.
I dislike this, big time. But I still want the game. See, I'm beginning to embrace the challenges WWE and THQ puts on guys like me who want to think outside the box. They're giving us tools to do our own thing, and yeah, they're handcuffing us, but they always leave one hand free...I don't have to do storylines one match at a time, I plan on doing what I can to make this thing work and make a great created wrestler fed and get people to watch it and have fun.

Well, it is a WWE produced game.
I'm assuming that maybe they think that people who are buying the game are first and foremost, WWE fans, and want to use the WWE Superstars.
However, I really don't think they're intentionally limiting the CAW out of spite or anger. That doesn't make sense.
