Good for you. It sure as hell affects me. And quite frankly, it is a gross display of sexism. And god forbid any female gamers who want to play this game with their male friends and use their created character or favorite "Diva". I think I'm done. I have literally bought every single game in this series on release. THQ just lost a sale, and lost a fan with this horrible, offensive move. If I ever buy this game, it will be second-hand, to assure they get no actual sale from me. You're not going to buy a game just because you can't fight the males with females? I understand your frustration and respect your opinion, but I see this happening because Linda McMahon is running for Senate. Really. The people running against her are already using clips from Youtube of the Divas being degraded and/or getting hit by other male superstars to prevent her from having any chance of winning. I know it's a pretty crazy assumption, but that's what I think is the reason. Still, don't let something as stupid as that ruin the rest of the game's improvements for you. But if you're sticking with this decision, hey, more power to you.

So... I'm assuming that Jesse's render isn't used for his place on the select screen, otherwise this game would surely have an M rating.

I'm sorta disappointed now that I can't have a Daffney CAW or Natalya go over everyone online, and make a story where they just randomly get into one of the male titles.

While I dont agree with it at all, I see why females can't fight males. It's probably WWE's choice, not THQ, given their "PG" shift. That, and the fact that THQ doesn't have the clout, or quite frankly the balls, to get away with "male on female violence" the way Rockstar does with GTA, even though there's no comparison between the two, that wouldn't stop idiot parents and "media watchdogs", IE, losers with far too much time on their hands.
Also, just so you all don't get disappointed when you play the game, here's some bad news I've found out:
1 - When you copy a CAW, the copy doesn't have the attribute points of the original. That pisses me off. I always made a random 80 OVR CAW in the past, and I just made a bunch of clones of him then made them into someone else, so it wouldn't take as long to get points.
2 - All CAWs with custom themes get the Raw theme when uploaded/downloaded. I've heard this can't be changed.
3 - Custom themes don't work during downloaded storylines
4 - Only "struggle submissions" can tap people out, and there are only 16 of those.
5 - Each CAW can have up to three custom logos.
6 - This is incredibly dumb....apparently CAWs can have three alternate attires....but all three have to share one pool of 48 (points). Read someone complaining that it was impossible to make a good Randy Savage with entrance attire, because there aren't enough points for tights, a hat, a jacket and glasses. Incredibly lame. Long hair even takes more points than short hair.
7 - You can't edit ANYTHING for downloaded CAWs, including entrance music, highlight reel, entrance vid, moves, name, or appearence. So I won't be using this feature at all. Even if you copy a DLed CAW, you can't edit the copy. Also, CAWs you download go back down to their starting attributes. Which is better than everyone being 99 I guess.

Just want to apologise for the "rumours" i posted a page back or so,i guess im quite a gullable fool! Just some clown on another forum suggested that we couldnt edit movesets and maybe entrances too, which spread to another set i was reading, had me pretty worried! With all the disapointing news recently,i wouldnt have been surprised if they were true.My bad anyway. The CAW stuff does sound extremely harsh,so many limitations and only 16 struggle submissions? .

Yup, the CAW download is absolutely worthless. I had no real intention of taking advantage of it anyway but damn, considering it worked fine in 2007 and 2008 why the hell is this year's version such an abomination?
There are at least more struggle ones than there have been in previous games, but still. Struggle submissions suck ass anyway - they should go back to the A / B style from older games. Hell, at least do it for the submissions that aren't Struggle ones.
As for the copying thing with stats... That's just annoying. I was planning on making a pair of CAWs who are the same person with different names as part of a storyline thing, and now they've pretty much blown that apart. Ugh.
I still say THQ should just put back in unlimited stats and tell all of the people complaining about it to either shut the hell up or make their own 100-overall CAWs.

THQ/Yukes really go out of their way to cripple their own features. The only thing I can see that might be a problem for them is technology. In future games, God willing, the CAW download feature may be fixed. It's definitely a feature that should improve over time. Also, they could simply release a patch to "fix" what problems that can be fixed. I'm not too bummed about it. I don't really create a lot of guys anyway, outside of a few custom ones. I should be able to get by. I can understand how this would severely ruin other people's game experience.
The man/woman violence thing is common sense. It doesn't happen in the WWE so why should they let it happen in their games? I honestly never understood why they allowed it in the first place in previous games.

Found this a few days ago, but forgot to post it here. Anyway, call name list - this is even worse than that in Legends of WrestleMania, be warned.
Angel Dynamite Hero Mr. Amazing Mr. Black Mr. Macho Omega The Barbarian The Bruiser The Champ The Cowboy The Disaster The Dog The Gangster The Hardcore Icon The King The Maniac The Masked Man (seriously, they add it the year after the game he's in?!) The Monster The Motor The Natural The Olympian The Phenom The Prince The Princess The Professor The Rocker The Samoan The Samurai The Scorpion The Show The Soldier The Superstar The Tornado Thunder

As long as "The Monster" & "The Superstar" are in, I'm good.

What kind of wrestler call name is "The Motor"? Is it supposed to be after Chuck?

I used Dynamite, Hero, The Monster, and The Samurai in the past at least, so glad to see those retained in the purging (even if I decided this year not to create Reptile, who Monster was used for). And used The Machine - I don't understand why they cut that one.
Or any of them, for that matter. This is just so phenomenally stupid in all honestly. Though then, this whole game's been a series of great huge additions with all kinds of retarded small touches, so no real surprise.
Anyway, yeah. Guess if you want to create Jet Li or the guy from Buffy, you're set at least.

Man, this points pool thing is really annoying me. I have a bad feeling I'm not going to be able to recreate any of my guys at this rate. Unless I NOT create any other attires. Which I have no problem doing.
Also, has there been any confirmation that the old logos, shitty as they were, are still in the game, just in case?

It isn't confirmed that every single one of them is in, but the feature still is. Which is good, since there's one guy in particular I had a really nice set of tights made for in 2009 and I wanna try to replicate them.
