Jeff Hardy's next court date, on November 4th, will "determine if a crime has been committed." There is a story going around in WWE that he was framed. According to the rumors, a package was sent to his door, he took it inside, and cops were there to arrest him. I guess the claim is that someone tipped off the cops that Hardy would be receiving a package, then sent him a package with various gizmos in it, and Jeff, unaware of what was in the package, opened the door, accepted it, and was immediately arrested. That would certainly explain his confidence that he's going to get off clean and come out of this looking just fine. No idea if it's true but that's what people are saying.

Eh everyone on these boards [for the most part] were crying for Angles head back in September and he ended up being innocent. Thats sorta, you know, the cornerstone of the judicial system. Anyway, if this is true its probably either some sort of disgruntled, crazy fan or some unknown guy Hardy pissed off. Doubt it would be anyone relevant to wrestling. You would be surprised what lengths some people will go to when they feel wronged. I have experienced that firsthand. |

He might not have committed a prosecutable crime but Angle sure as hell wasn't innocent. |

I have to say I hope this is the case. It'd mean Jeff hasn't already gone off the wagon, has stayed clean, and has every chance of a comeback. It'd be the best of situations for his, the fans', and the WWE's sakes. Even if it would also open up a new Savage-Steph/Eddie isnt dead style-conspiracy.

I bet it was Batista. He knew he couldn't get past Triple H/Orton/Cena on Raw, so he made sure that Jeff would be out of the picture completely after his contract ran out. I guess Batista's Game Genie is on the fritz.

Well Punk did crack Hardy in the back of the head with the WHC belt after he banished him just for (excretory matter) and giggles, so I wouldn't put it past him! "I'm straight edge, which means no drugs, no alcohol, no tobacco, no promiscuous sex.....Well you can buy them and plant them on your enemies to get incerceration piled onto you costing them their job. And before I mailed the drugs I spent all day in the room with them to show how much will power by doing that without touching them...." I personally think it was the surviving members of the Fabulous Freebirds. Since didn't Fritz try kayfabing away the taint of one of Kerry's drug arrests by implying the Freebirds planted the drugs on him? It would fit their M.O. |
