looks interesting, hopefully this is just a "kids being kid" episode and not a "soap box" episode. Although I think its kind of weird that with how current they are with things that they are doing a wrestling episode and not an MMA episode (although I can see this being somehow in reference to "the wrestler").
Oh, and this MUST involve Randy getting in the ring somehow.

in 1997, the NAO wore south park shirts, and now its come full circle. Wonder if they'll make any jokes about Albano. hmmm....

I think this is Edge's second Comedy Central appearance, right? His first was with Mencia's show.

They're kinda late, with wrestling no where near as popular as it used to be.

Considering that South Park has been around 1997, aren't they a little behind the times in doing a WWE episode? Wouldn't it have made more sense to do an episode like this sometime during 1997-2001, when wrestling hit its peak?
Edit: Damn, someone beat me to the punch.

It could have something to do with The pepsi center and the whole double-booking controversy since they live in colorado and when they were leaving the arena it showed The Pepsi Center sign.

From the looks of it, it won't actually be about WWE at all. Because that looks like the VERY beginning of the episode and after the show they say they're joining the wrestling team. So I'm guessing it'll be about High School, Amatuer wrestling NOT being like Sports Entertainment maybe? Or where they take up School wrestling and either suck, or are really good.

Oh, and this MUST involve Randy getting in the ring somehow. Yeah, Trey and Matt are pretty good at staying on top of the pop culture trends they satirize. I mean they made fun of Pokemon when it was really popular around the same time as the last wrestling boom. And I think the Attitude era audience would have a lot more overlap with the South Park audience. Although with WWE going TV-PG it would make sense that the kids are getting into wrestling now. Oh yea, and with all the Golga referrences. Didn't the NAOs wear South Park shirts before getting their own merch?

Should have happened in 99, but it should be fun to watch. One thing I really love is how apparently they (Trey and Matt) are putting actual wrestlers/logos/etc in there, rather then generic cliche stuff...

I have a feeling it will be about the kids signing up for their school wrestling team and injuring everyone trying WWE moves on them.
EDIT: We could also see Sheila go nuts and try to ban wrestling. Somehow I get the feeling that will be in there too.
I never knew Trey and Matt were wrestling fans. I think this is the first time in the history of the show they have referenced WWE, or wrestling at all. And Lord knows, they have had their chances (I would have expected some wrestlers to show up in Imaginationland if they were fans).
