Actually, what are the chances of Vince getting the Tom Cruise/Kanye West treatment?

It seems odd since South Park is usually very topical and about what ever's currently going on in pop culture. If they did an episode during the Attitude Era, or even during the Benoit controversy it would make sense. But what's the point now?

I think the whole point is that wrestling is not nearly as popular as it was. My guess is it'll be an episode devoted to how the product is nowadays...geared towards kids, bland, and pretty much desperately clinging to any possible chance they get to be seen by the general public.

This will more likely be a Lionel Tate deal. They go to school, learn to wrestle then kill Kenny. The parents cause an uproar and want wrestling banned. Meanwhile the kids discover wrestling is fake and their world is crushed.

I'll be dissapointed if they don't tear Vince to shreds, honestly. I can't see this portraying wrestling in any kind of positive light.

Knowing Matt and Trey they will probably tear Vince a new one,but I'm still sold on this episode. I would have liked to have seen this episode if it were made during the Attitude Era, but I would rather have a wrestling episode a decade too late then no wrestling episode at all.

Knowing Matt and Trey they will probably tear Vince a new one... Why would Trey and Matt tear Vince a new one? No one outside the IWC would understand it. I don't even think Matt and Trey would have a reason to make fun of him.

Professor Chaos for WWE Champ! Nawww....Butters is going the SRS Jericho route, and General Disarray is going to be his tag partner. Or heck, after last week's ep, maybe the Godfather might be a better wrestler for Butters to emulate! ;D

Also the kids finding out it's fake would bring back so many memories of my world being stomped on from the moment I went online... OH MAN! IF Southpark rags on the IWC i'd mark. We get to see

Or maybe this part of the show is just to set up something bigger.
Edit: I'm sure they're up on the newz sites and all that.
When was the last time Kenny died?

Or maybe this part of the show is just to set up something bigger. But definitely about wrestling, because the episode is named: Wrestling is Awesome.

We get to see You DO realize that that generalization includes you too, right? By virtue of being on the INTERNET and talking about WRESTLING on a FORUM....you are a part of the IWC. We all are....though I do hate the whole "hive mind" generalization. I am a part of the IWC, but I don't think EXACTLY like my fellow online wrestling fans. In fact, I would wager my opinions are far different from theirs.
