WWE just needs to concentrate on building new stars. New stars > Old stars It's simple, but this. Also as I said before in another thread, if I were Vince I won't even care or worry until they started getting in the mid 2.'s and that's a big if even with Hogan on board.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but if the rumor is true that TNA will move to Mondays, I would say yes, but if they stay Thursdays than no. No matter how TNA is, many people will still watch WWE on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (before TNA) and Friday. If TNA moves to the same time slot as a WWE show than try o counteract. But right now WWE should watch what TNA may do with Hogan. If they move to Mondays, I think WWE just needs to kick back and wait 'til they're a monopoly - it wouldn't take long. Pretty simple to see why. Assume half of TNA's audience prefers Raw and half prefers Impact - Raw would drop a few decimals, yes, but losing .2 or .3 or so is nothing when TNA would likely lose a full half their viewers.

I will say that although Angle is the "better wrestler" the addition of Hogan to TNA from a media standpoint is way much more monumental than when Angle or Foley or Sting went to TNA. Like him or not there is no arguing that Hogan is the biggest wrestling ICON at least of the modern era(which I consider to be post 1980). Now with that said either the result will be much ado about nothing in the longrun or TNA will get a shot in the arm longterm boost to use an old saying. Interestingly, I found out about this on a college basketball website.

Hogan going to TNA counteracts itself. In a manner of speaking.

Vince: "Hogan going to TNA could be bad for us. We need a star of equal caliber to offset it. Bring me Andre The Giant!" Brisco: "But sir..." Vince: "I DON'T CARE WHAT IT TAKES! BRING ME ANDRE THE GIANT DAMMIT! GIT! GIT! GIT!"

its not Hogan that I'd be wrried about..Its Bischoff, if you remember, before WWE bought WCW,he had ideas to change and improve WCW (and one of them suprisingly was push young talent..at least it says son in Death of WCW ) and it was onlythe fact that they lost the TV spots that screwed him, so I bet hes been feeling the pain, for about 8 years he's been thinking what if, and some of that he has spent collecting a paycheck from non other than Vince, that probably stuck in his throat something terrible, but now.. now hes sitting there an in road to a young, hungry promotion with the POTENTIAL to be huge, hes learned from mistakes, and he probably looksat WWE and, lets be honest, now is the right time to strike, I bet Easy E knows that too, pity Bicshoff and Hayman don't get on. imagine TNA with Bischoff and Heyman together..the sad thing is together they probably could bring WWE to its knees..thats the saddest thing of all Bishoff is overrated. The big difference between him and Vince is that Vince was always adaptable. Main example is Austin the guy was only ment to be a heel yet got so popular Vince was smart enough to make him the top face.Eric would never think to do that. He is also guided by Hogan. In his book Bret Hart talks about the Goldberg promo he did and even though Goldberg was cool with it Bishoff was really nervous saying how he had to check with Terry (being Hogan) and he had to be cool with it first. He was also to stupid to realise Vince only had him on the WWE to privatly mock him and gloat over being his boss then dumping him when his contract ended. End of the day I would not be to worried if Eric was running TNA if I was Vince. He had some good production values and one great idea that he dragged out to long and thats about it.

Here is the solution: Isn't he on FCW still? Bring him to the main roster, and let Hoyt-a-mania run wild!

Vince: You might have Hogan, but we've got Shane Sewell, Hornswoggle's long lost "little" cousin! Try to top that Dixie!

too many idiots running TNA, at best the 60 year old Hogan adds to their ratings and maybe increases the buy rates of ppvs a little, but with their creative team they wont come close to threatening raw
only way they could come close to touching Raw in the ratings would be for the last hour of Impact be a naked Hulk Hogan beating off in the ring while Michael Jackson's Beat It plays the the crowd chants along
