Suicide is a horrible idea. Insult to intelligence. Waste of a talent like Kaz. What do they get out of it? Is he really going to get over? A video game character? Here's a guy who could be with the Frontline putting on great matches, but no.
This is a non wrestling person's "good" idea. And it hurts the product overall.

SUICIDE = WRESTLECRAP
Even his name is Wrestlecrap... real smart name for a wrestler to have after the Benoit incident.
Hes a character from a pretty unpopular video game come to life. The promos showed off a dark gimmick, but now he is a cheery superhero who has terrible music that would be better off in the 80's. on top of that is outfit is a joke and he looks like he should be fighting the Power Rangers somewhere. If I got a 13 year old stoned and told them to make up a gimmick, I'm pretty sure I would get Suicide.
The ONLY way I feel this gimmick could be saved is if they make it a parody, a joke... The fans don't seem to really be taking to this guy

Amazing how in all that bitching you never once really gave a reason why you don't like the character. Personally, I like Suicide and think the angles they could do with could be awesome. Whether they go the revenge seeking route or mysterious hero who shows up and takes name.

When he debuted at Final Resolution. I thought it was well done and the crowd was into that.
Since then. Too much "straight from the TNA video game" billing from Tenay. Too many botches. Too many dead fan reactions. Seriously, if you watch closely when he did his run in with Kong, you can see a girl in the crowd with the biggest "This is the dumbest thing i've ever seen" look on her face. That sums it up.
It also seems like he isnt even close to debuting in a wrestling match and his run in thing will be dragged out as long as his hype video packages.
Why is Suicide a face? I would think a cast out who is suicidal would be more sinister and hateful to babyfaces. From his promo's leading up to his arrival, i was sure he would be a heel, but instead he is a suicidal super hero who stops heels from doing dirty deeds. Is he just now finding meaning in his pitiful, cockroach life and he is now TNA's red knight?
I think the gimmick will bust, and yes, eventually be wrestlecrap. It COULD of avoided that even if it is a bust, but Tenay made it official when he says week after week that he is "straight from TNA IMPACT! The video game". . .how can we take it seriously?

Well I must have been the only person to have heard "SUICIDE" chants when he debuted at Final Resolution then.

OK, if they're going video game, then fine. Have Penzer announce his hometown as "the TNA video game", maye have a graphic of a stamina meter above his head during matches. Go all out with it.

I think it would be funny if he froze up in the middle of a match.

Actually having the character isn't a bad thing, and he's shown off some decent moves and whatnot, but the constant, never-ending screaming, ranting, and raving by Tenay and West whenever he appears kills just about every segment he's in.
Again, what's one of the biggest problems with TNA? Tenay and West overexplaining everything.

That about sums up my opinion, too, though like HMark said, Tenay and West ranting and raving about how he's "straight from the TNA Impact video game!" is really what pushes it over the edge. Otherwise it'd be just your typical corny, but possibly workable gimmick. That said, I'd also pop if they incorporated game mechanics and graphics into him and really go full out with the video game thing. Either that or bring Glacier out of retirement and have them go one on one in an Xbox 360 on a Pole match.

Suicide is absolute WrestleCrap, through and through.
I am not a TNA fan at all but I was excited when I heard about Suicide. Then, I saw things like this:
"The high-flying daredevil "Suicide" steps off the videogame screen and into the real-life wrestling arena courtesy of Midway games and Total Nonstop Action!"
Oh my God!!! OFF THE VIDEO GAME AND ONTO THE SCREEN??? WOW!!!!
Are we really supposed to take a video game character that has been acknowledged as being inspired by a video game seriously? I know that wrestling is full of absurdities and all, but damn, I would like some suspension of disbelief. This is seriously only a step or two away in spirit from Robocop coming to aid Sting or Chucky taunting Rick Steiner. Horrible idea.
It also does not help that Suicide's music sounds like the soundtrack to a late '90s Mountain Dew ad, and the fact that he is dressed up in that silly outfit.

Are we really supposed to take a video game character that has been acknowledged as being inspired by a video game seriously? Well, Jyushin Lyger and Tiger Mask were inspired by manga characters. But then again, those characters were well-executed by bookers who didn't have their heads up their asses.

Why did they reveal it as Kaz, why did it need to be Kaz?
I mean i Think it would have been a great idea if applied to a new debuting wrestler.
Like say if they signed Kenny Omega, and debuted him as suicide, I think it would work.
However everybody is expecting him to unmask and reveal himself as Kaz.
Since Kaz is injured however, I think it would be a great idea to debut one of the many guys they've "signed", but are doing NWA shows in the interrum.
Really, I think the character has potential, but as it being Kaz already the potential is out the window.
Also he needs a new finisher.

But then again, those characters were well-executed by bookers who didn't have their heads up their asses. The difference here is "inspired." "Inspired" is okay. "Inspired" has given us MVP from Stephon Marbury, Mankind's Mandible Claw from The Fugitive, wild Sabu from Silence of the Lambs, John Morrison from Jim Morrison, and some other good things in wrestling. While, yes, it's also given us a ton of garbage, the thing is that "inspired by" is generally likelier to fare better than "adapted directly from" or "pulled right out of."

Suicide would be a really awesome character if not for the fact that he's "straight out of the TNA videogame." That's just stupid. STUPID. It was stupid enough that you were forced to play as a fake guy in the ps2 version of Impact, it's even more stupid to bring the fake guy to life and make one of your most over wrestlers portray him. STUPID.
