Since when did you become the voice of everyone? I never said I was the voice of anyone and I just thought people would consider this match one of the best of the 90s. And I would also agree wit this statement

I can not understand why WWE never did this match again I mean they were having talks at the time to do a rematch at WM7 but never happened.

When you think of the best matches of the 90s this one needs to come on everyones list. Since when did you become the voice of everyone? Since he joined the board, ive lost count of the amount of times weve been told about moments we would remember for the rest of time. And no Warrior vs Hogan doesnt come near my best matches of the 90's.

And no Warrior vs Hogan doesnt come near my best matches of the 90's. Yeah, like a Bret Hart vs British Bulldog rematch at a UK Nitro. I think the warrior/Hogan match is great, definately one of best of each guy's careers but I can't even consider that being in a top 10/20/30 list when I think of how many matches overshadowed it since.

It may have been over shadowed by a lot of matches since but it is one of the biggest matches of the 90;'s and the biggest (or at least one of the biggest matches) of that time period.Hogan 'passing the torch' to what was supposed to be the second coming of Hogan who 'dropped the torch' it was a very important match in the history of WWE/F and things in the early 90;s would have been a lot different if Warrior was able to be the next Hogan and his 'heart was in the business' which it was not. Therefore he got a relatively short title reign for that period and never got the belt back. He was also gone from WWE/F the next again year until 1996. There was a lot more going on backstage and behind the scenes but that was basically what happened not with standing McMahon owing Warrior money for matches already wrestled before Summerslam. It was not about 'Warrior Hogan being a technical masterpiece' (which it was not). It was about How important the champion vs champion face vs face match (which was huge even at that without even mentioning who was involved) Hogan Warrior match was for the transition of WWF from the 80's into the 90's and about Warrior becoming the next Hogan which almost happened. It;s hard to state a bigger or more important match of the 90's which also drew more money. There is really only a handful if that.
Also on regards to a re match. It would have been great for Mania 7 but then we would not have had their Savage VS Warrior feud and match. However we would have been saved from the worst Mania main event up to that point t in Hogan VS Slaughter and that feud. It would have to have been a Mania re match and backstage they knew Warrior VS Hogan 2 would not have worked as they could not have topped there first match. Therefore they dropped the idea and ran with Warrior VS Savage and Hogan VS Slaughter IMO.

Hogan vs. Warrior should probably be on everyones top matches lists. If nothing else, from a purely historical perspective.
I am actually glad they didn't have a rematch the following year or in WWF at all. It would have made this one feel less special. Plus we all know Hogan would have wanted his win back.

This will forever be my all-time favourite match. The excitement level was through the roof. The connection they had with the fans that night and the fans watching at home I feel really helped the match. It was a great move by WWE to put these together. At the time nobody knew who would win both were so big.
