You know, the werewolves from the Underworld series looked pretty good. I wonder why they couldn't use those guys.

Larry Talbot is too beefy and manly for this series .... I work with a gal who is in her 50's and she loves the books and is going to this movie. I keep telling her what kind of twaddle this is, even though I haven't seen it. But I have decided that I will take one for the team. When Twilight (or as I call it, Twiturd) is being played on one of my movie channels, I will try and give it a viewing and do a review on this very site. And I'm not looking forward to it, and I've seen (forgive me) both BloodRayne movies and some of those really crappy vamp flicks they show on Saturdays on The Sci Fi channel. And I think that in the end, those films will be better than the emo chick vampire douchebag fanfic flick.

Dog Soldiers werewolves or bust.
Anyway, about the whole twilight phenomena, If I was a tween girl I'm sure I'd be all super into Twilight, but yeah, it's not something I care for personally. Sure I mean, the guy who plays Edward is obviously attractive, but the Edward character is beyond bland.

I've always said, "Great message in Grease. Can't get the guy you want? Just dress as a whore, that'll get him."

I saw the trailer for this the other day; I'm no Twilight hater, but the wolf CGI made me crack up, that was really quite bad. Yeah. That was pretty Sci-Fi Channel Original-Tastic.

The fanbase can get out of hand. Then again, this applies for any fanbase of any product. I just kind of found it funny that a wrestling forum dedicated to celebrating the worst in wrestling seems to get so angry over other people's obsession with their entertainment. I wonder maybe Twilight fans make topic after topic on their forums complaining about Bossman stealing Big Show's dad's casket.

For some reason, I highly doubt that most Twilight fans watch wrestling. Doesn't seem to stop most people from bashing things. I'd be incredibly surprised if most people bashing New Moon actually go and watch it. If as many people saw Twilight as talked about how much it sucked it would have been the biggest grossing movie of all time.

Quite frankly, I think it's going to be shit. Between Kirstin Stewarts 'acting' and Rob Pattinson as a shitty vampire, it's going to be awful.
I think my sister would like me to go see it with her and I'm only going as it features Taylor Lautner, who in my opinion, is a lot better looking than 'R Pattz.' The cinema will be packed with Twilight fangirls though which is a rather depressing fact.

T'is true. {Spoiler}The series goes all kindsa creepy. The thought is that the wolves all "imprint" on someone without any say-so on who it is. One of them imprints on a freakin three year old and spends all his time with the kid, determined that when the kid grows up they'll be together. Ew.
Jacob, the wolf dude taht's all in love with Bella for God knows what reason (mopey, love struck emo goth chicks FTW, I guess) finally gets rejected and, after Bella's kid thing is born, Jacob is leaving all dejected and sad-like, sees the kid and realizes he's in love. Yeah.
I guess there's no Were-Chris Hansen out there, otherwise he'd be super busy. It's INCREDIBLY strange that due to a conversation about Ann Rice books I ended up making a Chris Hansen vampire hunter joke yesterday. If I had any photoshop skills i would shop me up a Van Hansen poster right now.

My neices (11 and 13) LOVE Twilight, loved the first movie and are counting the days until the second one comes out. I know they'll beg me to take them to see it, which means I can either say no and save my sanity, but be an asshole for makng them sad, or I can go, bite my tongue, then cry later for what cannot be unseen.

I thought the first one was OK, not bad but not great either. Highly doubt I'll watch the sequel unless I get dragged to it but I won't flat out refuse to see it like I would Harry Potter, HSM or 99.9% of Romantic comedies.

It will be undoubtedly worse. It will also make just as much, if not more, money than the first, and clean up at the MTV Movie Awards, while I'll die a little inside.
My dad travels a lot, and sees a lot of in-flight movies. He recently saw Twilight, and declared it to be, hands down, the worse in-flight movie he ever saw. Even my stepmother, who is a fan of the books (God help us), thought it was terrible.
My girlfriend is still trying to get through the first book, for some reason. If she ever makes me watch the movie, I'm going to Rifftrax:
"My family are vegetarians. We only consume the blood of animals." "Then your family is either confused or stupid!"
"She loves him on the basis that he hasn't killed her. That's...healthy."
"Bella needs you." "...to make her hammy acting look better by comparison!"
