Watching Barcelona v Mallorca myself. Are Arsenal worth the 3-0 Steve? 4-0 now. The first half an hour, we weren't. Since the first goal, we have been ruthless, and Wolves haven't had a sniff.

Chelsea must be the first big club to sell off their stadium name, I mean, surely they don't have to, they have mountains of cash? Money is money I guess. Obviously a dig at Arsenal and to a much lesser extent Newcastle? Well, I just forgot about Arsenal.

Barca 1-1 Mallorca here. Pedro scored the opener for Barca, and Nunez equalised after a defensive error from Pique for the 2nd week running.
In local news:
Dungannon 1-1 Crusaders Glenavon 2-2 Ballymena Glentoran 0-6 Coleraine Lisburn 0-3 Portadown Newry 0-6 Linfield
Wow... some totally shocking results today. Glentoran who are the champions getting utterly smashed at home today. There are rumours that manager Alan McDonald may walk after such a crap showing.
Linfield now sit 5 points clear at the top of the table. 2nd are Crusaders, with the champions Glentoran a further point behind in 3rd place.
For ages the league has looked quite tight between the top teams and now there's a bit of a gap opening up.

Finished 4-1 - disappointed to spoil the clean sheet, but it's another big win, and now we're second in the table. Oddly enough, our preferred result tomorrow is a draw, and that will knock us down to third, but we'd have a game in hand and only be 3 points behind Chelsea and 1 point behind United.

I have to say I didn't think Arsenal would compete for the title this season, but I have to say that Arsenal have been magnificent (from what I've seen). From the neutral perspective that I have it's good to see a team of such quality competing, but also good to see it's not (yet) the usual 2 horse race for the trophy.

At least Ancelotti admits that we exist - Fergie still maintains that we're out of it. He will be proven wrong.

So far I'm a fan of Mr. Ancelotti. He's a refreshing change at the top of football in that he's a manager who doesn't complain (so far anyway). He's not blamed any refs or whatever yet. I like to see that in a manager, and he's doing a good job with Chelsea this season.
Barcelona 3-1 Mallorca now. Pedro got the 2nd after a flurry of shots. Pedro shot saved, Henry shot saved, Busquets shot saved then Pedro shot off the keeper into the net. I felt sorry for the GK there. His defence gave him no help whatsoever. They all just stood about like planks. 3rd goal was a goal by Henry. Ibrahimovic was in an offside position, the ball was heading to him when Henry ran in and headed it into the net.

Yep, there's another cup shock - Northwich Victoria going over Charlton.

Leeds away to Kettering in the 2nd Round of the FA Cup. I hate being drawn away to non-league teams. It never ends well.

Chelsea 1-0 up over Manchester United through John "My Dad's A Drug Dealer, My Mum's A Shop Lifter" Terry. And that's how it finishes. Chelsea five points clear of both Arsenal and United, and Arsenal have a game in hand.

An absolute joke of a match and reading the Guardian and the BBC's view of the match I see it is the majority view.
Utd had a penalty turned down that should have been, Rooney was flagged offside when through on goal despite being miles onside and Chelseas goal has a multitude of illegal actions.
It was never a free kick, Drogba pulled Wes Brown down and then was offside when he swung a boot at it and so became active.
It was little things as well that showed how awful this Ref was. In the first half John Terry and Ashley Cole clumsily ran into each other and the Ref stopped play even though it wasn't a head injury. Then in the 2nd half Giggs got a head injury after colliding with the Chelsea RB and the Ref played on.
We deserved to lose at Liverpool but today we were the better team and I feel cheated.

Chelsea 1-0 up over Manchester United through John "My Dad's A Drug Dealer, My Mum's A Shop Lifter" Terry. No need for that mate. Massive win. Awful game, but a massive, massive win.
