io9.com/5420137/top-10-science-fiction-disappointments-of-the-past-decade/gallery/3Basic list The matrix sequels firefly getting cancelled The incredible hulk movies Heroes season 2 to 4. BSG finale Watchmen Nasa and the space program Superman returns The dark knight strikes again Identity Crisis and Infinite Crisis I fully agree with Heroes, superman returns and the matrix sequels. The incredible Hulk and Watchmen were decent, but I guess with those types of movies it's not enough to just be "okay,". fantastic four should have been on there, though.

I agree with The Fantastic Four, absolutely. Galactus as a cloud itself should have been on there as a seperate entity entirely.

When did Sci Fi include superheroes? Since Stan Lee started doing stuff like the galaxy-spanning Silver Surfer storylines of the 1960s? Also, I realize this is unpopular, but that site needs ALOT less Whedon fanboyism than it has. It shows up in every single article written.

Fantastic Four 2 can be on there, 1 was a damned fine movie.
Hulk doesn't deserve to be there, but Watchmen was definitely one of my biggest movie disappointments ever.

Why the hell are Identity and Infinite Crisis up there?

I'm actually confused by this list. Isn't a flop supposed to be something that failed or didn't do as well as it should have?
Firefly wasn't a flop because it lasted one season, The Matrix Movies still turned a huge profit despite them not being as good, Identity/Infinite sold well etc.
I thought this was going to be stuff like Land of the Lost and Pluto Nash...like stuff that didn't turn anything and...well...flopped.

This list left off A Sound of Thunder, Andromeda, and Sky Captain and the World Tommorrow, so...failure.

Anyone who hates Identity or Infinite crisis needs to be punched. Anyway that list is stupid Identity I can kind of see, it did add unneeded levels of grim to the characters and derailed some characters big time *JEan and Doc Light being the big ones* and had that stupid scene with Deathstroke where he takes on the League and won.

That was awesome when deathstroke took on the Justice League, People would have praised it to the heavens If Batman did it. And I liked the whole Rape angle

Aw man, I liked Superman Returns, Watchmen (forget the Squid, I prefer the movie's ending), both Crisis stories, and Edward Norton's Hulk.

What was wrong with Norton's Hulk
At least that one didn't me me wanna cry out of sheer boredom.
Also their was nothing wrong with Watchmen besides Ackerman's acting, It didn't do EVERYTHING in the book dispte the fact that it was already a VERY faithful adaption
boo f***ing hoo
The book wasn't exactly perfect

Changing the bad guy's plot (not really a huge change in terms of the outcome, just made really hardcore fanboys upset) 2. The fact that it exists makes Alan Moore have fits. Never mind that he radically changes pre-existing characters to suit his own agenda to make his comic books as much as screenwriters change around the original text of his comic books to make their adaptations, Mr. Moore will play J.D. Salinger till the day he croaks.

What works in a comics/books, Doesn't always work in film.

What works in a comics/books, Doesn't always work in film. 2. Alan Moore doesn't need to be put on such a high pedastal, He's the Quentin Tarentino of Comics. I like Alan Moore's work but their are much better writers out there. I agree with both points, but "no squid" caused soooooooooooooo much fanboy whining. I enjoy Alan's work as a writer. As a human being, I would gnaw my own leg off before I had to stay in the same room as him.
