I rented L4D2 for a little while. I didn't really get into the first game, so we'll see what this one holds in store for me.

Well...it seems to have grown on me a bit. And now that I have Guardin' Gnome, I think I may actually enjoy this game. Something seems different. More enjoyable in a way. I don't quite know what it is.

Man, i had a blast playing the Dante's Inferno demo. Good game....VERY reminiscent of God of War. Funny thing...I played Dantes on PS3, then played the GoW3 demo after that......seemed like playing the same game. Not thats a bad thing. And good god..I hadnt played MW2 for about 2 weeks and it showed last night. The last match I played (cuz at that point, it wasnt fun anymore lol) I went 2 and 17....and I didnt get the 2 kills till about a minute left in the round.

It IS a bad thing that EA is giving the PS3 version all of this love just so they can stand a chance against GoW3. They gave the PS3 the demo 2 weeks earlier. They are giving the PS3 version the Divine Edition, which includes a lot of kick ass things, for the same price as the 360 version($60) and it is the ONLY version the PS3 will get. In other words, the 360 gamers are getting screwed over big time.

Today's Holliday deal is Uno Rush for 400 MS points (originally 800)
Recommended if you love Uno. Fast paced and challenging.

So EA have a game that could compete with GOW (in terms of game-play) and yet they don't give the bonuses to 360 users...you know, the people who CAN'T buy the GOW series? Wouldn't you think 360 users are looking for a game like that? Instead PS3 users probably won't bother with Inferno because GOW is an exclusive/will be hyped to hell.

I just got done doing a really satisfying mission on ACII. I had to break into a "castle" with archers on the roof, armored knights below and the bad guy in the middle waiting for his boat to escape. I systematically assassinated all but one archer, throwing knived him and an armored guard and then dropped down from the roof, grabbing the middle ledge right by the boss. He had an armored guard right next to him, but I pulled off another assassination which saves a ton of time from hand to hand. Half a minute of chasing the old boss down and boom, stabbed in the back.
The plot for ACII is really picking up and the combat is great. The armored guys were tough as hell at first until I figured the best means of attack is either a smoke bomb or hand to hand and just disarm them and kill them with their own weapon. They're still a pain when there's two of them at once and several other guards waiting.
I'm thinking I'll pick up the first one, although I hear it's sort of rough compared to the sequel.

You guys can keep your lousy Dante's Infernos and God of War IIIs, I want a new Ninja Gaiden! Wait, no, actually I don't, now that Tomonobu Itagaki is no longer affiliated with Team Ninja they would just screw it up like they did with Ninja Gaiden Sigma (I played the demo of the first one and wasn't impressed at all, I'd rather play the old Xbox version any day). I guess I'll just start Ninja Gaiden II again, this time on Mentor difficulty, it has been a while since I last threw a controller against the wall.

Ah yes, the only thing potentially greater than an awesome action game starring Ryu Hayabusa - an awesome action game starring a hot chick who wears black leather and glasses. Yeah, I'll probably end up getting Bayonetta sooner or later.

Yeah, I'll probably end up getting Bayonetta sooner or later. Hell I don't even really care that Bayonetta is hot, I only truly care about the game cause it is made by the guy who made the first Devil May Cry, my personal favorite in the series(of course, I haven't played DMC4 yet, but from the looks of it, it won't beat out DMC1 for me).

^It does suck that Tomonobu Itagaki doesn't oversee the DOA/Ninja Gaiden/Volleyball franchise anymore. I suppose they must of had their reasons to boot him (I heard sexual harassment, rumor) but he did make the games ball bustingly hard and non apologetic in the way the series was, and it was awesome. I've been a DOA series mark since the Dreamcast and it sucks that it has to reboot itself. It's not started off well either with the watered down Sigma series either.

In terms of the balls to the wall difficulty, yeah the Sigma games are watered down. In terms of content? Hell no. The Sigma games get way more content than the originals. Also, it is about damn time we get another PROPER Dead or Alive game. The last proper DOA game came out December 2005. It has been FOUR YEARS since then. All we've got since then? Another Xtreme Beach Volley Ball game(not that I'm complaining about that....), a few poker games for the iPhone, and a game is coming to the PSP that is basically Xtreme Beach Volley Ball 2 minus the beach volley ball, it is just focusing on the poker mode and the bevy of mini games that the original Xtreme 2 had. No word if the huge list of swim suits return, though one would think they would. So damn it, Team Ninja, I want my Dead or Alive 5!

^Last I heard of DOA5 was that Team Ninja wanted a break from it because they believed they created the ultimate fighting game for the 00's. Which in a way they did, I'd still rather play DOA4 than any other fighting game that has come out since.

One of the best around, easily the best in the series, imo, but it has been dethroned as the king of fighting games by BlazBlue. Aside from the short roster, BlazBlue was the perfect fighting game.

The extra content in the Sigma games is pretty irrelevant as far as I'm concerned, it doesn't really affect the overall experience one way or another. Yeah, I guess it's cool that you get to fight some new bosses or play as Rachel or Ayane or Momiji, but I can do without. Also, the "new and improved" inventory system in Sigma 1 just sucks. They also toned down the violence and removed almost all of the blood in Sigma 2 for some reason.

Ah, but there is one thing Sigma 2 can do that none of the Xbox/360 releases can do, real time boob jiggling via the SIXAXIS. ;D

I'll probably be getting some MS Funbucks for Christmas, what games or content do y'all recommend I download? I'm thinking some Rock Band tracks, and maybe Shadow Complex.
