Okay kids, this is gonna differentiate from the norm, but here it goes... ... I finally bought one. I got an Xbox 360 Elite Holiday Bundle from Newegg, and its currently on its way to the house. I paid 299 (no tax or shipping, a huge rarity in New York), and with the 50 dollar gift card from Newegg, I'm gonna be getting a network adapter. The games I plan on starting out with: Call of Duty, Modern Warfare 2, Forza Motorsport 3, and Grand Theft Auto IV. I can't wait to play it, I spent smartly on it and with my 37" Vizio and 1080p TV, I'm ready to rock! Now back to your scheduled postings... If you need a 12-month card, and plan on picking up MW2, I'd recommend taking part in this deal if you don't mind going amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00269QLI8/ref=atv_pp2/184-6500855-2880759?pf_rd_p=501562991&pf_rd_s=center-5&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_i=468642&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1RYF4VCN0EES2W0J3F2ZYou get the 12 month card for $29.99 so you save like $10. Then you get a $10 code from amazon for a future game purchase which would drop GTA IV to $16.99. They also have Forza 3 right now $39.99, as does K-Mart as well (K-Marts ends today... not sure how long Forza 3 will be at that price.) The 12 month card is on my christmas list, so I'm not worrying about that. And actually, Newegg has Forza for $39.99 as well, so I'll buy it there, along with NASCAR 09, seeming as I am a NASCAR game freak. I'm also looking at the Sega Genesis collection, and raping ass all the way through Kid Chameleon and SOR 2.

Only disappointment is the multiplayer stuff is restricted to local. Well, and them not including Toejam & Earl.

Fortunately, my house has a Genesis as well, representing pretty much 4 generations of consoles in there if you also count the PS2 being backward compatible with PS1.

It's really lame you have to buy Lego Rock Band to export the songs. Just wanted to rent and export like RB1. No way I'm paying full price for a game that only has 45 songs and no online. No thanks

Any other WrestleCrappers play entirely too much Madden online? I'm dying for a matchup versus someone that doesn't play cheaply, or play glitchball.

No thanks To be fair, there's only, like, 2 songs that I would declare garbage, the rest are really fun. I mean, come on... THE FINAL COUNTDOWN is in the game. So is Ghostbusters and "Dreaming of You" is certainly the best song in the game. with honorable mention to "Valerie", which is oddly enough, a lot of fun to play. EDIT: Apparently, some Old Navy stores didn't sell out of their copy. For Black Friday, Old Navy gave out a free copy of Lego Rock Band for a $20 purchase. That, factor in a $10 worth of XBox fun bucks, and you can transfer every song to Rock Band 1 and 2, AND a large majority of Rock Band 1 and DLC can be played in Lego Rock Band.

No thanks You need to enter whatever the code is on the Instruction Manual, right? Because if that's the case...simply request a Manual when you rent the game. Most Blockbusters have them with the case when you rent, otherwise it's inside the display case on the floor (just copy down the code). That's what I did for NCAA 2010.

The code is actually on a separate card from the manual. (I tried and requested the manual...)

Option 3: Go to a GameStop (or local equivalent that has the display cases on the shelf) and look inside the case. 9 times out of 10, they leave everything inside the case. That's how a friend of mine got 5 Steve Austin codes for SvR 2010. If that doesn't work...cue up James Storm's music.

or you could actually support the people who made the game and actually buy it.

or you could actually support the people who made the game and actually buy it. This is what people say at the Rock Band forums, but it gets me just a little. If they released these songs as regular dlc in the future, I would have no problem buying the songs that way. I don't think it's fare to charge $50 for the game and an extra $10 to export to get the songs, when all I want is the exportation. I have already bought over 500 songs from their store, so I don't believe in buying a game just to export it, when they could release them as regular dlc

Afro Samurai isn't worth the disc it's lasered on. It had the potential to be a get game, but NOOOOO. I bought the game when it was 60 bucks new.... I'm still pissed about it...
