I can't recall seeing a better or more brutal squash match than that in quite some time.
I wonder who Sheamus will destroy next week? Dibs on Primo.

That was what they should have done last week. That was vicious, especially the floor powerbomb. I'd mark for Sheamus cutting those same promos he was starting to in ECW about going through everyone in search of gold, then interrupting random lower mid card matches every week. Just brutalizing both guys, then finally having someone step up to put a stop to it. His first Raw rivalry.

Yeah, that powerbomb looked absolutely sick. But yeah I like your idea, a guy who just goes around brutalising people. I can see maybe MVP being his first proper feud.

I'm guessing next week will be another squash with Shaemus trying to do the same thing, but a face running down to the ring to make the save and start up a feud.

Could kill two birds with one stone and have him brutalizing Primo and have Carlito pull a Matt and make the save, reunite the Colons, that got broke up for no reaon to begin with and maybe have a lower midcard feud with Carlito.

I will vote for your idea! Last match proved why we need more jobber/squash matches on Raw. A couple more weeks of this, and Sheamus will appear to be a monster!

I think it works out better this way, since Sheamus wanted to show off more, while Jamie was put over in saying that even though he knew his odds, he had something to prove to himself and others. Makes him a more sympathetic target. You know, if he's up to it, down the line, I'd love to see Steamboat take him on. "You may of been a great at one time, old man, but I wouldn't be the first Celtic Warrior to slay a Dragon."

Couldn't stand it. Sheamus is awesome, but they need to take a better approach to getting him over than doing the usual conveyor belt crap where they have a jobber devoid of credibility or reaction get crushed by a monster heel and repeat it until jobbing him out to a main eventer. He's really too good for that.
Sheamus actually looks substantially less intimidating to me now that he destroyed Jamie Noble. Why? Because Jamie Noble is one of the smallest guys on the entire roster, and hasn't won a match on TV in ages. Nobody on the roster ever loses to him. Sheamus beat Goldust and he beat Shelton Benjamin, both of whom are higher up in credibility, so why backtrack by having him revert to "Heel steamrolls nobodies" mode?

It did nothing for me.
Didn't really care since it was, you know, Jamie Noble.

I called this when it was first announced that he was moved. He will probably be doing this for the next two months, then cut your standard "Where is the real competition" promo, which leads to him feuding with MVP or something. Yawn.

Promo, match, aftermath
Right after the powerbomb at 4:49 the camera looks up at Sheamus, I loved that, they always do that with big men/monsters and it just looks cool.
