Couldn't stand it. Sheamus is awesome, but they need to take a better approach to getting him over than doing the usual conveyor belt crap where they have a jobber devoid of credibility or reaction get crushed by a monster heel and repeat it until jobbing him out to a main eventer. He's really too good for that. Sheamus actually looks substantially less intimidating to me now that he destroyed Jamie Noble. Why? Because Jamie Noble is one of the smallest guys on the entire roster, and hasn't won a match on TV in ages. Nobody on the roster ever loses to him. Sheamus beat Goldust and he beat Shelton Benjamin, both of whom are higher up in credibility, so why backtrack by having him revert to "Heel steamrolls nobodies" mode? Because this is pretty much a reboot on Sheamus. Two thirds to three quarters of the RAW audience don't watch ECW and so have little to no idea who Sheamus is. Sheamus has just beaten a jobber twice in a row, this is true. Who were his first two matches on ECW against again? Oliver John and Roman Cornell? Fantastic stuff. I'd also argue that Goldust had little more credibility than Jamie Noble did before Sheamus put him over, making their short feud much more interesting. That's not to say that WWE WON'T mess things up by giving him some sort of Kozlov/Snitsky jobber-squashing push then having him flounder in the midcard forever but I'd like to see what happens in week 3 of RAW is Sheamus first.

It was awesome, loved the powerbomb and the Jerry Springer camera angles helped a lot.

It served its purpose. I dont know yet if I buy Sheamus as a monster heel yet but he made big strides in that direction last night., just keep him out of the sun.

I thought it was perfect. Sheamus looked like an absolute beast in there, and the way Noble sold it had me truly feeling sorry for him. I didn't know if I wanted it to stop or keep going.

Jamie Noble sold both the backbreaker and powerbomb on the outside like death.

Poor Jamie, one of my favorites of all time was just murderalized. I only wish they would use him more.

...then he'll be booked to lose to Cena. Fa I-re-land? SHAAAAAYYYYYYYY-MAAAAAAAGAAAAAAA! Wonder how much time it's gonna be before he gets fed to someone like Cena? As it is right now, what babyface on the RAW roster could give him any competition? Mark Henry? I think size wise, he's the biggest babyface on the RAW roster. The US Champion is a heel currently...so is Swagger, and Evan Bourne needs to stay the hell away from Sheamus. So that leaves....Festus? Santino for the sympathy angle? Dunno.

MVP would probably make some mistake he can't recover from before getting creamed.

Seems like him winning the ECW title, and then vacating it due to no one being able to beat him would have been the wiser move, no? Unless they're playing it like the ECW GM just wanted him gone from the brand at any cost, that is.

There's definitely something Lesnaresque about that match.I hope they keep it up and he continues tearing through the roster. I wouldn't be against pushing the guy above MVP at this point.

I got the Lesnaresque vibe from that aswell. I'd love for Sheamus to be the "Next Big Thing" so to speak. I know it wouldn't happen but how good would it be to beat Cena like Lesnar beat The Rock??

I don't like the "Monster Role" push that they look to be giving him.
It almost never works out right.

The squash was well done, but I don't see Sheamus ever really getting over. Plus, I hate the fact they had Jamie Noble take a powerbomb on the floor, even though WWE has semi-banned the move from occuring inside the ring. To me, that shows that WWE doesn't really care about their smaller wrestlers, as they routinely take the huge bumps and don't get crap for it.

Swagger and Batista say hi.

Again, Sheamus would be better if he could do anything besides staring blankly, or looking vaguely worried about the opponent he just squashed as he heads back up the ramp.
After destroying Noble with the powerbomb, he got 2 different camera closeups, and in both cases, he looked like he was thinking about what he wanted to have for dinner.

Using the Zack Ryder Sitcom-O-Vision, we can see what Sheamus actually was thinking after his match on RAW. Oh...
