Oh, my Holy God!
Ten years. For ten damn years, Triple H has started every single match the exact same way: he gets on the apron, back turned to it, and has his defenses completely lowered for no less than seven seconds. Hit him with a chair, crotch him...tickle his armpits, SOMETHING!!!!!
Instead, every single guy he faces does the exact same thing: watches from the floor level as they witness the awesome power of a guy spitting water into the air.
*sigh* Could someone in WWE please read a f***ing book?

I always thought it'd be funny if some prankster managed to stealthily pee in that waterbottle. Let's see how dramatic that guessture is.  EDIT: LOL. guessture? What a stupid typo.  |

Nobody ever attacks Sailor Moon during her transformation sequence, either.
(Yes, I just compared HHH and Sailor Moon. I recommend you don't picture Trips in a little sailor skirt. Whoops, that's gonna leave a mark.)

I wouldn't mind seeing Triple H doing his arm-stretched water-spit and Chris Masters comes from behind, hooks in the Masterlock, and drags him over the top rope.

I think the kayfabe excuse is the ref usually prevents the wrestler from attacking their opponent before the match.

I must says, the refs have improved on preventing pre-match attacks over the years. Notice how they shield the wrestler making the entrance from the wrestler already in the ring?
