In order to mend fences with Israel, the WWE will be introducing a new Diva/Superstar duo named Torah Wilson and Tom Kippur.

Yeah..I've looked before at how many tours WWE has done of Israel and it's paltry, just paltry.
It's a shame they haven't followed through, and I'm actually with Israel on this one.

WWE cannot afford to lose any overseas markets since they are the only things turning them a profit atm. The thing is, I don't want to get political since it is against the rules, overseas markets are also dangerous just like I said above. If countries have conflict with the Americans, Anything remotely American would get destroyed. It's both profitable and not in some ways. I understand WWE's reluctance to head over there. I mean it's not like the Tribute to the Troops shows where they are on well guarded military bases (and even then are not totally safe) but, when you are relying on these places to save your ass profit wise, screwing them over like this isn't the smartest thing to do.

If they rehire Scotty Goldman as the new Vice-President of Global Media, the problem will be solved. C'mon, there was bound to be a Goldman joke coming sooner than later. His first speech should be "Dogs of the WWE. Time they made a move"

I don't know if someone with the name "Nazi" should be posting in a thread about Isreal Then again, should a person named after a ficticious wrestling German Count be either

Hopefully, without getting political, I think the WWE wants to ensure the safety of the wrestlers and if you look at Israel, it's a no brainer why they wouldn't follow through.

They clearly have a strong fanbase there, as evidenced by Israeli fans keeping WWE programming on the air for the mere promise of the WWE touring there, and Israel isn't currently a warzone like Afghanistan and Iraq were when the WWE went there. Screwing over fans in Israel will only hurt the WWE in that area, so the logical thing to do would be to give the Israeli fans what they want.

They should have Barry Horowitz mediate the situation.

On one hand, not sure if anyone's going to go through with it seeing as the product is already popular there. On the other hand, it's a dick move not to go through with something you said you'd do if the fans demand it. And the fans have demanded it if the product is growing in popularity so logically, you can make money off of these fans by doing shows there. I'm alot more on Isreal's side then I am on WWE's side. Yeah. Knowing WWEs constant history of lying about things I'm not very inclined to believe them.

They have plenty of fans in other places. I love how people on here will latch onto anything negative about the WWE as being "catastrophic" and "horrible".

What is WWE thinking? Do you know how many of these they could sell?

I don't blame them really, most of the WWE progamming sucks at the moment. ...oh wait, you meant... oh? Well, surely boycotting is the stupidest thing to do. It's hardly going to change the 'Es mind. What isn't highlighted here is that Israeli television is ten years behind in WWE chronology. If anything this is good news, it prevents a possible international incident when the crowd riots expecting a main event of The Rock vs. Austin with Shane McMahon as special ref and instead gets John Cena and Hornswoggle vs. Chavo Guerrero and Chris Masters.

I like the first couple of posters in this thread completly ignored the fact that the wwe lied to a country about comming there so they could keep there shows on the air in that country. I just find that...intresting to say the least. Maybe there is truth in the travel restrictions. There's a bigger American military presence in Iraq and Afganistan. Maybe they were given permission (instead of, you know, just showing up) to travel there and not given that same promise of safety in Isreal at the moment. I bet they'll be back there sooner than later if they DON'T carry out this boycott. I was gonna post... then I read this and that was pretty much it. That happens a lot around here. I second this.

Wha? Israel only gets ten-year old eps of RAW?
