What isn't highlighted here is that Israeli television is ten years behind in WWE chronology. If anything this is good news, it prevents a possible international incident when the crowd riots expecting a main event of The Rock vs. Austin with Shane McMahon as special ref and instead gets John Cena and Hornswoggle vs. Chavo Guerrero and Chris Masters. Wha? Israel only gets ten-year old eps of RAW? Yep, Chris Jericho just joined the WWF. I wonder how they will fill Benoits parts when he comes in?

Benoit will be replaced with an actual Rabid Wolverine, since Canadian wildlife is non-SAG and works cheap.

LOL, and what about John Sinai? I don't know if someone with the name "Nazi" should be posting in a thread about Isreal Then again, should a person named after a ficticious wrestling German Count be either True that, luckily the aforementioned Nazi resides in Israel

Well, if WWE is boycotted in Israel, they'll certainly be welcome in some other parts of the Middle East by default, lol. My only live event was on October 31st, 1997 show when they came to Bahrain. Good times...I just wish one of us brought a camera...

Hopefully, without getting political, I think the WWE wants to ensure the safety of the wrestlers and if you look at Israel, it's a no brainer why they wouldn't follow through. No really, it isn't. They clearly have a strong fanbase there, as evidenced by Israeli fans keeping WWE programming on the air for the mere promise of the WWE touring there, and Israel isn't currently a warzone like Afghanistan and Iraq were when the WWE went there. Screwing over fans in Israel will only hurt the WWE in that area, so the logical thing to do would be to give the Israeli fans what they want. They won't be on a well guarded US Millitary base in Isreal amongst thousands of troops. Using Iraq and Afganistan to make an arguement for Israel shows you have no grasp of how the Iraq and Afganistan situations are set up. EDIT: ANd Isreal isn't a warzone? Iran is threatening to drop a nuke on them and blow them off the map. Israel is very much a warzone.

My 2 cents - the point here, IMO, is not to get the WWE to tour here by boycotting it, but rather to protest against it's policy of lies. Besides, Israel being or not being a safe place to tour is not even the point. Israel's been on that "travel warning" list for a while now and the WWE, as far as I see it, never intended to bring their live shows here anyway. What angered the fans here is that the WWE lied to get us to help it get it's shows on our TV, then used the "travel warning" as an excuse to back out of their part of the deal.

If they rehire Scotty Goldman as the new Vice-President of Global Media, the problem will be solved. C'mon, there was bound to be a Goldman joke coming sooner than later. His first speech should be "Dogs of the WWE. Time they made a move" You guys get Simpsons quotes, but not HotD? Wow...

WWE is just worried Taker will turn heel and use his black magic to set off Armageddon during his trip to the Holy-land.

Raw is War. These guys can survive. In all seriousness.. I would love to be 10 years removed from watching the WWE and then be thrust with the current product with no catch up. The questions... 1) DX is around without New Age Outlaws or Chyna? So.. it's just Triple H? .... wait... HBK too? Uhh... 2) Didn't HBK retire because of a career ending back injury where he'd never wrestle again,.. wait you mean he's no longer a jerk who won't job.. oh it makes sense now. 3) ECW is still around awesome?! *watches ECW, scratches head* At least Dreamer is still fat... 4) Triple H is in the main event? What did both Austin and the Rock retire? ... oh..
