People keep doing the whole Lesnar/Sheamus thing... Lesnar was around five months before he got a shot at the Rock. He had wins over both Hardys, RVD, and Hogan. Just killed countless others. Everyone beleaved he was the Next Big Thing. Sheamus while I like the guy, had a great showing at Survivor Series, retired Noble, beat up Lawler. WWE is probably forgetting he was even in ECW, which is best, because Goldust lost the fued between the two, but its not like Sheamus really had the upper hand the whole time. I'm glad WWE is pushing the guy, but I feel it has better chance of going the way of Kendrick or Kozlov. A quick uppercard heel push, and then back down the card.
I would have gone with MVP, a guy thats been around a while thats over both as a face or a heel. I would have him won the battle royal. Then at the contract signing turn on Cena. Next week give a win against Henry to make him look more credible.

I'd have gone with Christian... I know him being champ and all of a 3rd rate program should exclude him, but he is charasmatic, has been ECW champ or chasing the ECW title since he returned... theres only so much left for him to do there without moving on.

The problem with this is Morrison/Christian/Kofi are all faces, putting them against Cena at this point would be pointless, heck he might get booed against these guys and Vince wouldn't want that. Also Kofi is getting a great push, he did pin Punk and Orton back to back, and eliminated Orton in the battle royal on Raw. Swagger wouldn't be a bad choice, but that would have to rebuild his character and give him some major wins under his belt before this. The Miz would not work, because he got beat down by Cena a couple of months ago, he needs some big wins to get there, and most people think of him as a cowardly/sneaky heel. I think they put Christian on one of the big two soon and give him a pretty big push, the only problem is who would he fued with and both champions are faces. I could see an Edge/Christian fued when Edge returns.

I would have picked Sheamus. My second pick would be Swagger, but like many people have said, he needs to be built more. But if the WWE is gonna make Sheamus, here is what they should do.
The weeks prior to TLC, build Sheamus immensely. Have him fight/attack a fev ring vets. Maybe he can destroy DX in the Little People's Court segment next week.
After that, have him win cleanly in a handicapped match against maybe against MVP and Mark Henry or Cryme Tyme (Hey, I'm not being racist, but what else are they doing) to make him look like a legit monster. Cena could get involved. but no attacks, just an intense stare down or promo.
The week after that, Sheamus will compete against Evan Bourne. Sheamus will absolutely dominate Evan untill John Cena comes out to the entrance ramp. Sheamus will get distracted and Evan rolls him up for the win. Sheamus will go nuts and destroy almost everything at ringside. Cena will run down and brawl with him while Raw goes off the air.
TLC PPV. Sheamus and Cena have a great match with lots of missed table spots. Near the 20 minute mark, Sheamus tries a crucifix powerbomb through a table but Cena will get out of it and go for an AA. Sheamus breaks out and beats Cena down. Sheamus waits for Cena to get up to go for a Bicycle Kick, but Cena counters it into a STF. It will be locked in until Sheamus crawls out of the ring and falls out of the STF.
Both men are down but Sheamus is the first to get up. He sets up a table at ringside and gets back in the ring. He throws the table in ring at the downed Cena on the outside. He goes and throws Cena back on the inside. Sheamus has Cena in a headlock maybe going for a DDT, but Cena counters into an AA through the Table at ringside. Cena wins, while Sheamus looks like a million bucks.
Thats how I would do it.

I would've went with Kofi, or almost anyone else in the poll. Sheamus bores me to tears.

I would've went with Kofi, or almost anyone else in the poll. Sheamus bores me to tears. Same here. If I had to make an honest pick from the RAW roster, I'd choose Miz. He's so much better than Sheamus it's not even funny. Being big shouldn't equal a push, and it certainly shouldn't get you a push when you haven't even been out of developmental for six months. People love to throw around the phrase "paying dues" when smaller guys don't get pushes, but then it's okay when a big guy doesn't pay any dues. It irritates me.
