Oklahoma better give Bob Stoops a raise to make sure he doesn't leave for Florida.

And now Pollack has removed that Tweet. Ah, so wild speculation then... ESPN will be calling. Unless they don't want the info out now.

ESPN announce team at the Meineke Car Care Bowl are making it sound like he died. kinda scary. Which is why I paid it so much attention when they first announced it. They've been speaking in hushed tones ever since.

All the best to Urban Meyer. Get healthy. Florida is going to trounce the Bearcats now. Tebow and Meyer's last game with Florida, sorry Cincy but the Gators are going to steamroll you. Vegas just took the Sugar Bowl off the board. I think the line was 10 before It'll probally be around 25 by the time its back on. And I still don't think they'll cover that

Oklahoma better give Bob Stoops a raise to make sure he doesn't leave for Florida. Look, I would love to get Bob Stoops.....but even without a raise, I dont see him coming here. He's turned us down twice and I see him turning us down a third time. If he comes to Florida, I will apologize to every Oklahoma fan because I know what its like to have people court your coach while you are still playing.

But now the Gators are the top program in the nation. Sorry USC fans, but Florida has passed you up. And that's going to be enticing for Stoops. Florida's going to have to go after a big time coach, because they don't have a coordinator they can promote. Charlie Strong already has another job. And they've looked at Stoops before, I think Jeremy Foley will look at him again. Stoops was a big reason that Spurrier won a National Title, and from what I've read he has a good relationship with Jeremy Foley.

Okay.....to every college football team out there, we apologize in advance if we try to steal your coach during your season. Just know we are not happy about talking to your head coach either because we would still rather have Urban Meyer....but those are the breaks.

NICK SABAN TO FLORIDA!!!!!!!!........... Not really but can you imagine? After what Saban did to the Dolphins, it wouldn't surprise me to see him jump from Alabama. Same with Bobby Petrino, but that means the Gators would just need another coach in 3 years.

Bama fan would probally kill him before he can make it to the press conference. Same goes for Browns fans and Art Modell making it in the HOF (Which is in Canton Ohio)

If I was Brian Kelly, I would be stuffing my personal effects back in my boxes in South Bend and hitchhike to Gainesville.

It's simply speculation at this point on why he resigned. We do know that doctors found an arachnoid cyst on his brain back when he was coaching at ND in 1998, but that may not be the actual health problem. There was a story he had chest pains after the SEC title game as well, so at this point, we don't know why this is going down.
Losing Charlie Strong to Louisville doesn't help matters either because many within the UF program thought he would have made a logical choice as Meyer's replacement.
I hope Urban gets the treatment he needs.

If Tebow didn't have pro aspirations, it wouldn't shock me to see him wanting to be the next coach.
