I was on another forum which I don't think can be mentioned here and the subject of Hair v.s. Hair matches came up and the fact that both big show and Angle have kept their heads shaved ever since.
This got me thinking, in high school I had very long hair and only ended up cutting it for my grandfather's funeral. Ever since I have been unable to grow it out, well unable isn't the word it's more unwilling. I just can't bring myself to grow it out again and now I keep my hair very short at all times.
Anyone else ever go from one extreme to another and find yourself unwilling to go back?

I've done both extremes (shaved head and mini fro), and I'm currently growing my hair out because I'm undecided on whether or not I'll sport another mohawk. This time I'll probably dye it, though.
Oh, I went from shoulder length hair to a shaved head in 30 minutes many years ago, and then I kept on shaving it for 10 years. Since then I've been up and down in length. Most people like the shaved head, but some also liked the hawk.

I've always wanted to dye my hair but I have very dark brown hair and dyeing it would be all sorts of irritating work and I just don't want to futz with it.

was skin bald for 2 years. growing my hair long again, though I'm starting to lose my hair so I think it'll only be long again for a short time before I go Mr. Clean again.

Yeah, over time I just kept going shorter and shorter and I'm now at the point where I think my hair looks terrible if it goes beyond a Jason Statham type length.

Got a friend who knows her stuff when it comes to dying hair. Unfortunately, my hair is so dark that I would have to go through several different processes to get it done right. But I kind of want to see how I'd look with fire engine red hair. ;D

I've gone bald every now and then, so I can "reboot" my hair.

I had really long hair for like four years and I shaved it off over this past summer, and kept it shaved ever since.

I had long hair up until I went through a very rough patch in my life. Wanting to cut the bad karma from my life, I chopped it off and eventually went for a buzz cut. Now I keep my hair very short.

When I was younger, I grew a mullet for almost exactly one calendar year. Since then, I've kept it at different short lengths. Although on occassion that I grew it out, it basically looked like Bruce Lee's "fro". After graduating high school, I decided not to bother paying someone to cut it and just started buzzing it myself. I noticed that I really enjoyed not having hair around my ears so I've kept it that way for the past 7 or so years. I buzz it to usually 1/4"-1/2". My headshape is pretty weird so I'd look goofy as hell completely bald.

I cut my hair once a year near the end of spring, it works out great. My head is cool during the summer, and warm during the winter.

I had long hair in high school and it worked pretty well. But since then nature decided to do weird things like random cowlicks, frizz fro, and super wavy parts so having it that long again would be a nightmare.

I shaved my head once years ago. I bled all over place and then discovered I have a very ugly, bumpy head. Needless to say I'll never do that again. I've grown my hair out a few times but usually like to keep it short. With long hair I tend to look a bit like Buzz from the Melvins but brown instead of gray. I've also dyed my hair various colors over the years. The best being bright red and the first time I tried dying it black and it came out dark purple. I also used hair dye remover once. It turned my hair into a floresent orange sponge.

I had long hair as a teen, but ever since the age of 18 I've either kept it shaved bald, or at least short.
However, now at the age of 28 I'm growing it back out. It's coming in nicer than when I was a teen. I used to have thick, frizzy ultra curly hair. This time it's softer, less curly, and thinner, and I've got a snazzy beard I grew last year to go with it.

I've had long hair since I was in high school and had it trimmed only a handful of times. But I wonder how it would be to shave it all off. Much easier to manage, I assume.

I grew my hair long in high school. Pony tail. I cut it short for wrestling my senior year and kept it somewhat short for most of college. I grew it out a few inches and cheaply bleached it a couple times in college, but other than that, I kept it short. At some point, I think in 2006 in my senior year, I bought clippers and buzzed my head every few weeks. I haven't paid for a haircut since then. Recently I've started actually shaving my head every other day, and I love it. First, I'm sort-of balding on top. Second, I like having no hair to worry about when I work out. It makes life so simple.

If I could get a job that lets you grow your hair out I will see how it looks long. My hair has been pretty much the same my whole life. I usually like to get it buzzed every few months.

I had long hair throughout most of high school, until my Junior year (02-03), when I shaved my hair (past shoulder-length) for the upcoming varsity wrestling season. The year prior in my last match of the year, I got beat by points in a case where I shouldn't have.
Kept the shaved head (either clean shaved with a razor or trimmed with clippers and no guard) up until about 5 months ago. I've decided to grow my hair back out for two reasons: It's a mite cold in Tennessee this time of year and I used to get lots of compliments from the ladies on my long hair.
