Why does everyone assume that because he's in the movie, he needs to turn face to promote it? It makes business sense if you have a successful movie. Turn the movie star babyface, the marks all cheer the face and want to buy the merch, including DVDs. Won't work as well that way for the heels, or so WWE seems to think. After seeing the trailer, I'm actually guessing that they saw a final cut of the movie and quietly decided to kill Ted's face turn while they just sneak this onto store shelves and hope that everyone forgets about it.

I thought I heard Tiffany in the trailer, but I guess it was just a generic blonde.

I've gotta love the ragging on Ted's line delivery.
As if he is supposed to deliver 'Hey sweetheart' with some amazing amount of passion and that one line alone could win him an Oscar.
Unless the line they were referring to was 'Where is she?', which was delivered absolutely correctly. I dunno.

I think his girlfriend just spouts exposition all the time.
And is that Michael Rooker and Jango Fett?

That was the same logic a lot of people used in 1996 when Hogan turned for the nWo, they said it would have been a foolish idea to turn him heel when he had 2 or 3 movies about to be released.

This movie would've been so much better if it the terrorists were aliens and instead of dibiase it was Cody and Dusty."Cowdy the aliens kidwapped your girlfwiend. She's on da' mowther Shiwp!" I want this. NOW.

I'll be seeing this film. It's not"Sherriff Kurt hunting down Zombie Nash and Zombie Sid" fantastic sounding, but it looks kind of hammy bad, Not bad, but it coulda used some ninjas. And possibly a subplot involving aliens.

"The goal is to save people, not kill them to win."

Narrator: He was a man of peace, living on a quiet farm in North Dakota. Till one day all hell broke loose. Male: Tim we need you. Tim: I'm a man of peace, I'm done killing. I wanna raise a family. Man: That's just it Tim, They've got your family! Tim: NOOOOOOOO! Narrator: Ted Dibiase is Tim in the Marine 2. From the heart of America to the jungles of Cambodia, follow one mans quest for peace. Tim: Hoochi vet is that you? Hoochi: Tim I know you come, just like old days we kill everybody. Male: Tim they've got your wive! Tim: But I'm not married! Male: You are now to America. Narrator: He went in to save his country, but found his family and his friend. (Shot) Tim: Hoochi!!!! Hoochi: Tim don't leave me, you tought me baseball Tim, and how to laugh. Tim: Nooo, he would have been a fine American. I'll cry when I'm done killing! Narrator: Get your self a body bag, strap your self in, start making friends the American way! The Marine 2! Rated R! YES!!!! It's actually Rated R. I'm surprised. It's so surreal when you hear a WWE wrestler say the F-word.

This movie looks shitty enough to cement him as a heel for life actually.
At least the first Marine looked like an inoffensive generic action movie.
This seems aggressively bad.

Theu seem to get decent actors forbadguysbutscrew up on thewrestler of choice I think the problem here is that all the actors look as bad as Ted. At least in Cena movies there are people who can act (Robert Patrick, Kelly Carlson, that guy from the wire). The lead actress in particular looks very bad, and as had been mentioned is spouting nothing but exposition ("Remember my boss who is a billionaire and owns that luxury hotel resort?" "They're a seperatist terrorist group with a political agenda and have taken us hostage!")

These movies are all Vince's evil plan to get chicks to stop dating cops/Marines for fear of being kidnapped.

Listen here fella, I should've been in the movie. Me, The Celtic Warrior Sheamus. Everyone knows the IRA was the greatest fighting force in the world, not these marines. And I'm whiter than that Dibiase and Cena combined, fella. I would pay to see that shit

and the movie itself probably isn't that bad.... Rated R?! I like that. the first Marine should have been R, but i guess they didn't want the Hero to all those kids dropping the F-bomb
