-The Rangers are "definitely interested" and are "definitely talking" to the representatives for Vladimir Guerrero, according to MLB.com.
YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!
This whole abomination of an offseason will be worth it if we bring him here. Not only will he not murder us anymore, but he will have the chance to destroy the ball in this park 81 games a year!

Maybe the Rangers can get him to just be a DH? His knees are not what they used to be. I love Vlad; and I get how he needs to have his adrenaline pumping by being out in the outfield in order to hit... but his defense is no longer up to par. I do know he is a May - August hitter though, which helped last season, in that he missed enough time, which allowed him to get hot in September and October, and not turn into a shell of his former self.

Well, Hall of Fame voting today, so who's everybody got? I'm thinking Alomar is a lock and this year Blylevin finally gets voted in.

Alomar gets in for sure.
Edgar won't get nearly enough to get in this year, but i'm still surprised at the amount he reportedly got

I got Alomar and Dawson as my guesses.
Dawson's total has increased very healthily, and I think Alomar will get 80-85% of the vote.

Since we're talking HoF, what % will Randy Johnson get when he's voted in on the first ballot?

This is going to be a VERY boring HOF ceremony this year. Dawson, Herzog, and an ump lol.
Still not as bad as when they pretty much only elected Bruce Sutter.

Bert Blyleven missed the HOF by just 5 votes. He and Alomar going in next year, no doubt.

Congrats to Andre Dawson, one of the greatest Cubs ever and certainly deserves to get it. I am shocked that Alomar didn't get in. He will get in next year because I'm surehe was REALLY close to getting in this year.

Is Dawson going in as an Expo or as a Cub? Though he was one of the Cubs' best all time players, his biggest successes and best stats were with the Expos.

HOW THE f*** DID ALOMAR NOT GET IN? I don't agree with it, but it's the truth. If we're talking best overall second basement of the last 50 years, you can't have a short list without Morgan, Sandberg and Alomar near the friggin' top. Congratulations to the Hawk. An amazing player, considering I didn't get to see him until his knees were already shot and he'd moved over to right in Wrigley. That cannon...good lord. So I assume he gets an Expos cap, right? Maddux, Glavine, Schilling, Johnson, and Mussina will all come up within a pair of ballots. Awesome.
