Jeff Hardy: something about his appearance (like he was in the middle of dying his hair when the match started) & that thing he does when hes at the ramp that irritates me (especially when I see the kids wearing his merchandise)

Alright first of all, my picks are going to be a bit iffy on the "everyone else does" part of the question. Just so you know...
Jeff Hardy: This guy hasn't got enough talent to fill an eggcup, and is the epitome of what I don't like in wrestling. Great in gimmick matches, yes. But apart from that the guy puts me to sleep. People criticize AJ Styles for wrestling carcrash matches but compared to Jeff he's Arn f***ing Anderson. Horrible, horrible worker outside of gimmick matches, terrible on the microphone and just all-around awful.
Triple H: I wouldn't really classify him as someone everyone loves, but this is more to the people that consider him one of the best workers ever. Sorry, but that's just not true in my opinion. Don't get me wrong the guy has had some very good matches in the past, but really has been very average since his matches with Ric Flair. What has the guy done of note since then? Nothing really.
And don't pass this off as a "HEZ MARR13D 2 STEF!" rant because it's not. Do I think HHH buries people? Yeah I do. But I'm not a blind HHHater, I just call a spade a spade and I feel that for a guy in his position he could do a lot more to help the talent he works with. A majority of the time when HHH fueds with a wrestler, they come out looking a lot worse than they did going in. Need proof? Look at Umaga after his fued with HHH. Look at Orton after their numerous fueds. It took years for him to get his credibility after he got f***ing steamrolled by HHH at Unforgiven 04. I'm not saying the guy is a bad worker, but I think he should have retired long ago and taken a booking role.
Jack Swagger: Not that I don't like the guy, but I just don't get what everyone sees in him. He'll be a world champion for sure, but for now I'm not drinking the Swagger Kool-Aid.

I'll never understand the seeming mass appeal of Rob Van Dam. The dude wrestles the exact same match, every match, with very little variation unless some kind of gimmick match is involved. And he SUUUUCKS on the mic.

Back in the late 90's, I usually ended up disliking most of the popular wrestlers of the time. I ended up getting very bored with the Rock, with the nWo Wolfpac, and with a handful of others. To this day, I still can't say I'm a fan of many of those guys, but I appreciate some of the things they did a little bit more.
Sign me up for Jeff Hardy, though; like it was just said, the guy's fine in gimmick matches, but he doesn't do much in a regular match to generate much interest/psychology.
Never really found Triple H all that great, to be honest.

I generally seem to like the Wrestlers the majority likes, but I often feel I dislike a great deal of Wrestlers that these Forums seem to love.
- Matt Hardy.
- Mike Knox.
- William Regal.
- Bret Hart
And to an extent, Morrison.
I feel the way about Morrison, the way I felt about Kofi not too long ago. Luckily, I care about Kofi now cause they gave us an opportunity to care for him. I want to be able to care for Morrisons character.

When you say his gimmick was not cool, I assume you mean the earrings and the quite ambiguous look? I just ask because I thought that was AWESOME. Nobody had looked like that before in wrestling and it is still one of the coolest things ever for me. You have...odd taste. He just looked like a gay stripper to me. He dressed like one of the village people twenty years after the fact. Walk into a leather bar or a gay pride parade and you will see a lot of HBKs walking around. Not that I find that offensive or any such nonsense, just...for a wrestler, dressing like an even more flamboyant Mr. Slave isn't something that strikes me as cool or appealing. It worked for him as a heel, but when he became a face I still hated him and thought he was annoying. I didn't like HBK until he came back after his back injury. Even to this day he just has this heelish aura to me where I root against him the majority of the time, although that has cooled a bit for me. In situations where he is supposed to be a heel, like against Hogan or Cena, this works because even though I do not like either of those guys I wanted them to win in both situations. I saw it more ambiguous than homosexual.

The Hardy Boyz- NEVER saw the appeal. At all. Jerry Lynn- decent enough worker, but never got it. Seems like a no-no to say. Justin Credible- I suppose he worked hard enough to get over the whole Aldo Montoya thing, but whatever.

CM Punk AJ Styles Samoa Joe face Mankind (always prefered him as a heel way more when he was the Mankind character)

A lot of current- or ex-ROH talent like Bryan Danielson and CM Punk. I dislike them not so much because I think they're terrible wrestlers but because I think they are very overrated. Punk is mediocre as a wrestler, and while Danielson is better, he is hardly as great as he is made out to be. Despite putting on a much better in-ring performance than Danielson, Sonjay Dutt was booed and underappreciated when he took Danielson on at ROH's 100th Show. Admittedly, the audience was overwhelmingly full of ROH fanboys who were booing because they wanted to see ROH triumph rather than CZW. But for fans who claim to love ROH because of its focus on athleticism, they couldn't appreciate Dutt's superior athleticism over Danielson because they let their mark partisanship get in the way.

Dude Love.
I think Foley's a legend and loved both Mankind and Cactus Jack; but Dude Love... just never saw what was so special about the gimmick.

I don't dislike Triple H as much as did in like 2000-2004. I liked him during his feud with John Cena. He's still probably the most dull top drawing wrestler ever.

Ric Flair. At least for the past 20 years.
I've heard people say RVD does the same stuff every match, but Christ how was that different from Flair? Every match, you could count on him stumbling around and flopping face-first to the mat, flipping over the turnbuckle and getting clotheslines off, and, of course, trying to hit whatever it was he kept planning off the top rope...only to get slammed off.
And, of course, the Figure Four never worked. His opponent always "reversed" it by turning over...which somehow hurts Flair, but he can get out of it..?

John Morrison.. I admit that he is starting to grow on me, but that is only because of the Miz.
Kane...I know that he is talented and has been in the WWE for more than a decade, but I still find him dull.
Hernandez..He is an okay big man, but nothing special.
Rhyno just doesn't impress me as a wrestler.
Evan Bourne is talented, but is just boring. He seems likeable though.
That Japanese guy from ECW is decent in the ring, but the fact that I don't even know his name speaks volumes.
Gail Kim seems to have lost her stride or something like that. I just can't get into her wrestling at all now that she has returned to the WWE.
Madison Rayne is just not that impressive a wrestler.
ODB is just gross but a decent enough wrestler though.
Shaemus bores me.
Zack Ryder is overrated.

Ric Flair Samoa Joe Sting Undertaker (most of this decade and some of the 90's) Bret Hart (until the past year or so never saw the appeal of him growing up until 1997 and his heel turn) Mick Foley (outside of his 1996 very early Mankind days) Dudley Boyz/Team 3D Booker T JBL

Stone Cold. Good performer, but still trash in and out of character. Never should've gotten as popular as he did. If it wasn't for the general "culture" if I dare call it that, in the US and so many people (read: rednecks) identifying with him, he would've been stuck in midcard forever. Maybe it's just my anti-America bias speaking, but I've never found anything redeeming about the character.
