John Morrison. Since his days as Nitro, through the Dirt Sheet with Miz, up until present day I just can't get into the guy. He has shown zero personality in my opinion and has had a fair few opportunities to do so. Miz always just seemed so much more comfortable on the mic and even in the ring.
With Morrison I just feel like I'm watching a series of moves strung together with little flow or transition. I even vastly preferred Mercury in MNM.

Jeff Hardy. It's like he missed his wrestling classes and just learned to bounce off a trampoline.
...
So that IS how he learned to wrestle. Ah.

Stone Cold. Good performer, but still trash in and out of character. Never should've gotten as popular as he did. If it wasn't for the general "culture" if I dare call it that, in the US and so many people (read: rednecks) identifying with him, he would've been stuck in midcard forever. Maybe it's just my anti-America bias speaking, but I've never found anything redeeming about the character. You know, that's interesting that you talk about Austin. I was just watching RAW from Jan 2001. Now, I know it was the end of the Attitude Era, but Austin was just annoying. I don't see him as "cool" the way he treats Steph or how he beat up the hotdog vendor for making a dumb joke. It's the first time I have ever watched a Stone Cold appearance and disliked him so strongly. I think the whole SCSA may be finally wearing off on me - it just does not age well, and it's very tired. Stunning Steve was amazing in the ring. ECW-Austin was hella fun. Early SCSA was kinda fresh and new. But now Stone Cold is boring and even annoying. _____________ On a bit of an opposite note; I don't know the general consensus here since I am new, but Billy Gunn amazes me every time I go back and watch his matches. That guy really had something in the ring, and the crowds were nuts for him. It's too bad he fell all the way to Cute Kip and second fiddle to Talia (Much as I did love that incarnation of TBP); at least he was still working every single week on TV, though. . .

Bret Hart-i'm sorry. this guy was the best no doubt about it. but honestly the guy's ego throws me off board. i mean he still goes on about somethin that happened over ten years ago, that he could of prevented btw. get over it really.
Hulk Hogan- i'm sorry a guy with blonde chinese hair and the skin of a hotdog that only fights after havin some sort of seizure and he ends punchin him while saying "you" and doin a leg drop does not entertain me.
Scott Steiner- He lost me at No Way Out 2003.

I thought of another one: AJ Styles. I don't get it. He's not charismatic to me, and he is the epitome of the worker who is all flash and no substance. He does a lot of moves that don't make sense. He's not good on the mic, he brings no drama whatsoever to a feud, he doesn't tell a story in the ring...should I go on? He is IMO, possibly the poorest excuse for a main eventer I have ever seen in the 20+ years I've been watching wrestling. Yeah. You're absolutely right. I've been racking my brain trying to contribute here, since I really do like most professional wrestlers and respect their style and craft. But AJ comes across like an annoying tween in his promos, all he does and yell and throw things down and kick things, it's just lame. Definitely has a spot in wrestling, but to me he's not the guy I want at the top of the card. The Crazy thing is though, Bret Hart recently said AJ is possibly the best in the world, so I guess I'm just an idiot. Plus, with people always whining about Shawn's gayish character, wasn't AJ Styles originally a Backstreet Boys gimmick? It's at least a reference.

Wow, it's good that this thread has gone on for a while before I found it, because it reminded me of some things. Also, I tried my best to keep the rule of "that everybody else does" when a lot of you have not.
Magnum T.A. Chris Jericho (before his "save us" gimmick) John Morrison Kofi Kingston MVP R Truth Cryme Tyme Rey Mysterio Batista (post Evolution) Ric Flair (pre WWE) CM Punk (I like the gimmick, but hate the lack of mic skills) Anyone in TNA right now that was never in WWE (except Desmond Wolfe) The Road Warriors / LOD (with a passion) Sunny The Rock Shawn Micheals (before his WWE return) Jeff Hardy Matt Hardy (except when he was Version 1) Ricky Steamboat Anyone out of the Hart Dungeon except Owen when he wore yellow The Undertaker (outside of his biker gimmick)

Lack of mic skills? Really? It's a matter of taste, but really. to me, Punk seems like he's really the most comfortable with the microphone in the entire WWE roster. Seriously. He just comes off as very natural and his promos are well-flowing.

Nowadays, Mark Henry. People keep clamoring for a push for him, I think he still sucks and isn't much of a wrestler. Never was happy to see him on my screen. That pisses me off the most because before the match with Randy Orton, he was a useless hoss, then all of a sudden he be Orton cleanly and he miraculously became a God who controls the crowd. ALL BECAUSE OF THAT ONE MATCH!!!!!

He just comes off as very natural and his promos are well-flowing. He's OK, but he can't get too many people to react to him. His boos come from less than half of the crowd most of the time, if they even boo.

He goes on about it when asked by the fans who obviously can't get over it and I doubt they ever will... The 'E bringing up the screwjob and using it as a match finish on a regular basis doesn't help matters any. I can't stand Shawn Michaels, I always hated his brand of overselling and the way he'd go toe to toe with much bigger men like Scrappy Doo. I won't go into the backstage stuff, but if he hadn't returned from injury and he wasn't Hunter's friend, he would have had a Warrior style burial DVD by now.

I'll choose Triple H. I can look past the fact that he's married to Stephanie and stands to inherit the business at some point in time. But the fact is that he's failed to entertain me since he tore his first quad, plain and simple. When he's serious, he's boring. When he's funny, he's trying too hard. His in-ring work usually bores me to tears. I don't get the thing about him being an "old-school" wrestler just because he watches a ton of tapes and does a Harley Race knee. And whether or not he aims to beat Ric Flair's record for title reigns, his amount of title reigns is a joke just because they happened in the span of a few years (though that could be attributed more to the current state of the business).
I'll stop there as since I don't watch wrestling regularly, I can't really rate anybody else. Plus I can usually get some sort of entertainment out of any wrestler, whether good or bad. I can't with Triple H. I do think he has a ton of respect for the history of the business and would make a good booker as long as he's out of the ring, but in the ring he does absolutely nothing for me.
