The first part could be real. The creative team trying to convince Vince about Batista to have another title run sounds fake.

I don't honestly buy this one, either. Wrestling is filled with stories of huge guys with no MMA knowledge getting their asses handed to them by smaller guys with some knowledge of real fighting (Jericho/Goldberg is one example.) Again here's how that went "Goldberg charges, Jericho locks in front face lock, broken up by security" That's how it went. A better one is Vader being slap ko'd by Mr. Wonderful

What is it about us wrestling fans that we like the idea of the smaller guy legit beating up the larger guy. Its like when Joey Styles supposedly beat up JBL. I'm sure it started in the Russo era in the year 2,000. He started the whole "let the mid-carders take the main event spots!" stuff, and also that in turn started the whole "let the underdog beat the established guy" stuff. To this day, people get off on wanting to see an "underdog" guy get the better of a "main" guy, even if you go so far as to confuse reality with fantasy, like getting off on Sheamus getting beat up in real life because of his wrestling character. So with that said, If Batista beat up Chavo, you won't find much reporting on it, and no one would post it, but If Chavo beat up Batsita, it would be evreywhere. To this day, it's the reason why everyone will support an "up and comer" but as soon, and I mean as soon as, one of them steps up to the main event, the internet as a whole will turn on them. This doesn't mean that individuals will change their minds, no, it means that people who supported the guy will keep quiet and all of the people who already hated him will come out of the woodwork in their posts, not being able to resist their urge anymore to vent their frustrations.

What was the Booker T/Batista story? It was something like Batista(who I've heard has a temper(like the time he got pissed off about getting booed on the ECW show at Hammerstein) he disrespected Booker T in some way and pissed him off and they got into a fight where I hear Batista got his ass handed to him. They reconciled like a few days later and did promo pics. You can see some of the bandages on them in the pic.

Although it may be just another tabloid story to grab our attention (Kane vs Tim Sylvia anybody?), I would not be surprised in the slightest if Yoshi actually pulled this off considering he came from a gym that has bred legendary hard-asses such as Shinya Hashimoto, Kensuke Sasaki, Akira Maeda,Genichiro Tenryu, Minoru Suzuki, Masakatsu Funaki, Kazuyuki Fujita, and Yoshihiro Takayama.

Tenryu and Takayama did not come from New Japan.
Maeda was the guy who trained Suzuki and Funaki, and convinced them to start pancrase...
Takayama in pro fights...lol

So we have a boring "Millionaire" White boy, an aggressive Irishman and a Japanese man who speaks hardly any English but has apparent great comedic timing. All living under the same roof. I smell a sitcom! Have Tony Atlas as the laughing track and add Drew McIntyre, Chris Jericho and CM Punk and you have yourself a deal.

Whenever there's a Yoshi Tatsu story, I picture his theme music playing in the background while he's doing this.

I knew there was a reason why Sheamus started sucking up to HHH. It wasn't just the title shot. He needed protection from Yoshi.

Whether its true or not, I want to believe that Yoshi gropes women and beats up giant Scottish dudes...all to the sounds of J-Pop. Woah! When did Drew McIntyre move in? Unless............Is this a wrestling version of Friends we're looking at here? Ach, my bad. Now I'm just gonna imagine Drew busting into the apartment, Kramer-style.

The best story I heard was from some older wrestlers, I forget who told the story. But, there was this new guy who came into the locker room, and he was really big. And, he was asked who he wanted to wrestle that night. So, he choose the smallest guy in the room, who was Danny Hodge. So, Danny Hodge shot on him and stretched him out when they were in the ring. So, the story is believable. Ole Anderson. He tells that story in his book. He was just breaking in and they asked him who he wanted to work out with and he picked Hodge, the smallest guy in the place, who also happened to be a 4 time NCAA champion, Olympic silver medalist, and Golden Gloves boxing champion, among other things. Ole was much more muscular than his later days and figured he'd crush the guy, but Hodge wrecked him.

JR and others have said Hodge is the toughest guy in the history of wrestling, and that covers a lot of ground. He use to pop bushel of apples with with hand (just one hand) and have people time it. Then he would move on to ripping pliers and other hardware tools apart with his hands. When a guy can make you cry just shaking your hand, he's not to be messed with.

What was the Booker T/Batista story? Long story short, Batista apparently had a habit of considering himself above the rest of the SmackDown roster and most of them hated him. At the set of the SummerSlam 2006 commercial, Booker challenged him to a fight and apparently kicked his ass. Also - as I write a ton anyway, I volunteer to write a script for this Sheamus / Yoshi / DiBiase / McIntyre / Punk / Jericho / Haas sitcom. I can see, "The party's over!" being the next big wacky catchphrase.

Even if this is true, nothing will top Joey Styles dropping JBL.

I gotta think if JBL wasn't being held back, Styles would have been broken in half.
