At the risk of sounding like a smark who can't enjoy the product, The Little Bastard been with the WWE for over 3 and a half years, the longest tenure of any midget to date.
After debuting as Finlay's sidelick, his biggest notoriety was being the last cruiserweight champion and later as Vince McMahon's illegimate son for a brief time. At that point, it seemed like a generous amount of time for him to be on the payroll.
After that, he just seemed like a waste of space. His physical appearance limits him to only comedy, as midget wrestling is not taken seriously in the United States.
I know the kiddies love him, but dear lord, if WWE wants to broaden to people of all ages, having him around is a waste of time. I don't like to see him or anybody out of a job, especially in times like these, but the crappy skits they have him do is nothing less than embarassing and should be done away with.
It also angers me to know end, that the creative team(what a misnomer of a name) can't find anything for new talent to do and ends up releasing them, yet they can always come up with Hornswoggle Looney Tunes skits that should have stopped 2 years ago(I loathed it back then too).
So really, why is the guy still on the roster? Can't he just be sent to Mexico where midget wrestling is revered?
Your thoughts?

'Cause he still gets big pops.
And I wouldn't be surprised if he sells a fair amount of merch.

He is really, really, really popular and is guaranteed to make the live crowed pop and they have gotten to the point that they seem to just stick with what they know will get a certain reaction.

I know the kiddies love him No need to go on. The kiddies are the target audience. As long as they love him, pop for him, and buy his merch, he's gonna be on the payroll.

Hornswoggle is their go to for filling up some time, since it's easy to come up with random crap for him to do.
Unless the crowd starts seriously crapping all over him, he'll probably continue for quite a while.

Listen to the pops he gets when he appears. The live crowd loves him, which is why he still has a job.

He's Eugene without the issues. "No one" will boo him because he is "special".

I guarantee you that if he was released, the kids wouldn't miss him that much. He's not funny, nuff said. The kids have their Cena, and DX. Let us atleast watch with some dignity. Imagine you were showing wrestling to some guy who never watched before and midget court popped on.

He's a one trick pony, so when the crowd gets sick of it he's gone. They haven't though, and he only gets more over...which only serves to further infuriate the lunatic fringe of the IWC. Personally, he's my favorite member of the roster. ;D

Imagine you were showing wrestling to some guy who never watched before and midget court popped on. First of all, funny is subjective. He usually gets a chuckle out of me. Second of all, if I was trying to sell WWE to a non-fan things like midget court would be the FIRST thing I'd show them.

Or they laugh at him because he is different and to be feared. I am not trying to knock WWE or him for it, I am just saying he is the most loved person on the roster and, giving my reason for thinking why. He is easy heat, same for Eugene. No one is going to boo someone with a "handicap" and, will boo anyone that picks on them. WWE knows this and will use it for all they can.

That might work if you're trying to sell them on the entertainment comedy segments of RAW, but it certainly won't convince them to spend any money on the pay per views. Maybe a handful at first.

'Cause he still gets big pops. And I wouldn't be surprised if he sells a fair amount of merch. I think the merch thing is the sole reason why they paired him with DX. I don't really think a whole lot of people would but a plain Hornswaggle shirt. ....but pair him up with DX, who already move tons of merch, and prepare to be swamped in money. Also, what must it be like to be Hornswaggle himself? I bet that guy is having the time of his life.
