I mean, they're cutting out the main focus of the entire show, it's like cutting to commercial in the middle of a football play, you're missing out on what you tuned in to watch. The only time there aren't commercials are when there are extremely short matches like Kofi/Miz last night, or during the main event, and even then they cut to commercial during the main event.

Every time there's a commercial break in the middle of a match, I say to myself, "What if the match happened to end during the commercial? That would be really crappy TV."

Commercials are bad, but the fact that whichever announcer is talking MUST go one octave of pitch higher in order to relay it makes me want to punch the television screen every time.

"Remember that armbar that was on when we went to commercial? Well, the guy tapped out...lets go backstage with Grisham and..."

I don't mind the commercials, it's just the commercials during wrestling matches, it defeats the purpose of even showing the match to viewers at home if you're not even going to show all of it.

The commercials are necessary, but the ads during the f---ing matches. It's pointless and completely predictable. You can literally sense when they're going to breaks mere moments before they actually do it.

And it probably wouldn't help you Americans when they'res 5 minutes of matches then 5 minutes of commercials.
At least most of Raw's matches last 5 minutes not, meaning you won't miss anything.

Look at this one. They ran out of time on the station right as the main event started.

At least wrestling is scripted and you rarely ever miss anything good. I watch NASCAR and it is annoying how many times something big happens during a race while they are at commercial break.

I just hate it because it's always clear as day when they will take a commercial break. If it's a tag match, one of the teams will clear house and stand in the ring alone. If it's a singles match, usually one wrestler will be laying outside the ring after a big move.

Yeah, back in the day when you had bonafied tag teams, it wasn't uncommon for them to use tag wrestlers to get champions over. For instance, if they used Headshrinker Fatu to put over Bret Hart, it wouldn't hurt the credibility of the Headshrikers team because Fatu isn't known as a superb singles wrestler. Plus you are taking a guy from one of the top tag teams to use to solidify your champion. If was a win win situation for booking. Make sense ?

The best part is Vince hyping it up without remembering which of them it is.

I don't know if it's still on the new DVD releases, but I really hate it when the publish matches from TV shows on DVD an still make cuts where the commercial breaks were.

I can remember in like 2005 or so that happened too, during a Val Venis squashing (maybe by Muhammed Hassan?). The match had just started when they went to commercial, and when it came back whoever beat him was celebrating while they showed a replay of the match's ending.

The commercials during matches thing bothers me because I think it's something WWE does simply because they can. After RAW become WAR they stopped doing it until WCW died and then suddenly they did it all the time.
