Hah! The US edges out Canada for a silver medal, for their own first gold and bronze at the Moguls. My chaotic Quebecois-ness laughs at the situation. It was very close, and a good run by the American winner. What bothers me is that chick who came in 3rd place acting like a damn kid, both when she finished her run and when her colleague won the gold. Running around with the flag like SHE won the thing... Call it Canadian patriotism if you will, just that woman bothers me. The woman who won first, however? Well done, and well deserved. Canada will have to wait another day for it's first gold at home. You are just jelous of her hair. That is it.

Just saw the video of the Georgian luger's fatal crash. The IOC has to do more than just putting up a wooden plank. You're kidding me. They moved the start of the men's luge to down where the women start as well, but I agree. There needs to be something done. Well, moving it did decrease the speed about 10 miles per hour. And speed was the biggest problem with the track.

It could be worse, I think one game went 82-0 once. Mercy rule indeed. I guess I'm not the only one watching this luge run with a morbid view souring the whole thing.

Huh, thank you for that. I think I'm in love. But I still prefer the ladies. I'll update it again once I get the hang of these tables. Ah, technical difficulties, that forth cauldron thing WILL rise.

I am as patroitic as the next guy. But if you look at the history of the olympics, the US almost always wins the metal race, with some exceptions. Of course, most of those years it was the Russians. I would just once like to see a country like Bulgaria dominate the olympics.
