Gonna be an awesome atmosphere at the US-Canada hockey game tomorrow. Can't wait for that one.....totally jacked up. Hope the USA boys can pull off what I would call a pretty huge upset as I predicted Canada to run the table in group play before this started.
Canada is very stacked against a young USA team.

What time is tonight's US-Canada game and more importantly, what channel? 7:40 PM EST on MSNBC if you're in the US if you're up North I would assume it is on the main channel (CTV?)

Yes, I know there is a catch-all Winter Olympic Games thread, but I wonder if someone could take the time to ask a mod and then follow up to do a separate thread that's a poll of "Favorite Winter Olympic Event" and then list as many as humanly possible in the poll. I don't mean "Skiing," but Ski Cross, Super G, Slalom, etc. as independent choices on the poll. I suppose bobsledding and events like that could be generalized as "one event", thus 2-man and 4-man don't have to be distinct from each other. There are so many "skiing" events though that I don't think I could justifably vote "skiing" if that meant something I hate (like Moguls) was under than umbrella.
Also, MSNBC doesn't have the Olympics on. What the heck?
Oh, and as to why I'm not doing the aforementioned suggestion, it's because I'm too lazy/busy with other things to fire one up, but I'm interested to hear from the thread-followers on the subject.

Huh, that's something - all winning countries have at least won more or better than a single bronze. The bottom three have a silver and the UK has their gold (and their stereotypical bad teeth, as to be expected. Although their winner sure has some sexy teeth though.)

Germany has a Gold and two Silvers today. Can someone find the Das Wunderkind music? I guess we all have to dance to it by day's end.

Very sad. I hope that the media can back off of her for a little while. I can only imagine how tough the next few days are going to be.

USA Women's hockey is already in the final match, and if Canada gets through too...I sincerely hope to God CTV et al don't make it as revenge for yesterday's game if Canada wins. I like their women's team too much for them to have THAT much attention.

Here you go, Blah. You make a promo backstage about how you've had a change of heart, and are willing to go out and take your native land back.
Then, right before you head out.
SWERVE!! You come out decked in red, white, and blue.

And Canada has a 5th Gold, first in that discipline of figure skating. The US has another silver too. Somewhere, Martin Brodeur mumbles that HE skates as good as them.
