It's not over yet, but I've really lost interest myself. I mean why should I care about Cena vs Batista? Dave is basically a bodyguard, which came from absolutely NOWHERE. Why should I care about some metrosexual hired gun vs Cena, Bret's spiritual successor/friend? This is Wrestlemania, I expect more than "You beat me up now I want my title back".
And on the Bret vs Vince side...well Bret Hart left about 4 months before I even started watching wrestling (Survivor Series 1997 to Feb 1998, that's 4 months right?), so the only Bret I remember is the guy random guy in nWo Silver Version with Jeff Jarret, the guy who got kicked in the head by Goldberg, and the stuff I've seen on YT and WWE clips. So I don't have as much vested interest as the rest of you.
And what's really doing it is the slow build is killing me. Bret appearing every 2 or 3 weeks is killing my interest since Cena's not interesting enough to keep it. Kayfabling it up is killing me, since this was a personal as hell thing, and unlike Matt vs Edge, I don't feel any real emotion from this. It just feels like Mr. McMahon tormenting another wrestler for a match at Backlash, but it'll just be a quick sharpshooter and it will never be spoken of again.
Between this and Jericho vs Edge, I'm only interested in MITB and MizShow at Mania.

Because Bret working any kind of a match, and especially a Street Fight(read: glorified hardcore match) would be a HORRIBLE idea for him physically? Any match other than "Bret punches Vince, locks in sharpshooter, Vince taps out" is beyond Bret's physical range at this point, I think. Especially a street fight? That makes it 1000 times easier. All he would have to do is beat on Vince for 10 minutes with foreign objects, not take one bump, lock in the sharpshooter and win. You can even overbook it like Vince-Shane at X-7 and have a special ref and lots of interference. I think you're overlooking how much of street fights are based on headshots with chairs, trash cans, etc. Bret has post concussion syndrome and was paralyzed for a time after falling off his bike and hitting his head...not a motor cycle on the high way bike, but Huffy in a sunny park on a bike path. So I think that's out. And yes, I'm shocked the rest of the Harts are getting NOTHING in this program. That sucks.
