As we know 1999 was the last year to not have a Gooker so my question is had there been a Gooker in 1999 what would have won the honors.
Fingerpoke of doom/Foley's Victory is Spoiled-The two nWo factions finally have a match that ends after a fingerpoke the same night that Mankind's title victory is spoiled.
The Hour of Nitro with no wrestling-For reasons unknown someone thought it would be a good idea to have a Nitro with nothing but pretaped segments the first hour
Ric Flair as WCW president-Ric Flair wins the presidency of WCW. He gives Bischoff pathetic jobs. Eventually David turns his back on Flair and Flair is put in the nuthouse. When Flair gets out he begins shoving David down everyone's throat
Pinata on a pole-Despite usually producing some of the best matches in WCW the Mexican wrestlers are put in a match where the object is to retrieve a pinata.
WCW Championship tournament-Russo books a championship tournament that includes Madusa being eliminated twice and the finals being a rehash of the Montreal Screwjob
Starrcade 1999-Highlights include Liz using Silly String on Sting, Nash wining a powerbomb match after he tells the referee he powerbombed Sid, and The Varsity CLub returning as Duggan's partners only to have the Varsity Club turn on Duggan.
Vince McMahon wins the Royal Rumble-Vince wins the 1999 Royal Rumble despite not being an active wrestler
Big Bossman is hung-Following one of the worst Hell in a Cell matches of all time The Undertaker hangs the Big Bossman
Kennel from Hell-The Big Bossman kills Al Snow's dog and feeds it to Al resulting in one of the worst matches in history
Big Show's dad dies-The Big Show's dad dies and the Big Bossman crashes the funeral.

I picked Big Show-Bossman, but the Al Snow and Pepper stuff is right up there. I've got Unforgiven 1999, and once in a blue moon I'll watch the Kennel From Hell match, just to laugh at the dogs squatting, sniffing eachothers butts, or mating, rather than being "rabid" lol
...just curious, when exactly did the Ric Flair kidnapping angle occur?

Was Hawk's "suicide" this year or the one before? 'Cause I'd say that takes the cake.

Fingerpoke of Doom + Foley's Victory is Spoiled = STOP AT A TRIPLE WHAMMY, Fingerpoke of Doom was only the last straw for me as A WCW viewer, not only that but WCW pulls a Bait and Switch on those watching Nitro that January night (The main event was supposed to be Nash VS Goldberg for the WCW title) but they also revealed that on a taped Raw airing that same night, Foley (As Mankind) would win the WWF title and Tony saying "That'll put some butts in the seats"

Definitely the Kennel From Hell - pure comedy gold right there. And as has been said by Crash1984 - the alternative commentary on the Foley Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops DVD makes it even funnier.

The Kennel from Hell was pretty bad but I remember being real disgusted about the Bossman/Big Show's father's funeral angle at the time. So I voted for the latter. Although, unlike the Katie Vick angle, I find it hilarious watching it back now. The strange thing was that Russo didn't even book it, he was in WCW by then.

How about Vince as the Higher Power? After the buildup, that was a massive wrestlecrap moment, especially when you started asking any kind of questions about it.

The Flair kidnapping was shown at Havoc 1999.

NONE of these because the Gooker of 1999 would have been MAE YOUNG GIVES BIRTH TO A HAND!!! That was 2000. And I believe that Mae Young came in second to David Arquette winning the WCW Championship for that year.

Either Fingerpoke because of the circumstances leading up to it (Schiavone's snarky comment, causing a substantial amount of viewers to switch over to the competition) and the final end result, or Kennel From Hell because it's one of those matches that represents the worst of WWF's "Attitude Era" boom.

"The Big Bossman is Hung?"
So his P*nis size was gooker-worthy?
Or do you mean that whole episode where Bossman was Hanged?

The Fingerpoke of Doom did the most damage, undoubtedly. Still, it's a tough choice because there were a ton of contenders that year, including some that aren't listed. Among the worst were Vince as the Higher Power, the Savage/Rodman feud, the No Limit Soldiers, the white hummer angle, and the Hogan/Sting worked shoot angle immediately followed by the Goldberg/Sting non-title title match.

The Fingerpoke Of Doom. Because it was that moment that was the symbolic end of WCW.

For everyone keeping score, the Heroes of Wrestling pay-per-view also was in 1999.

For everyone keeping score, the Heroes of Wrestling pay-per-view also was in 1999. That would be worth at least an honorable mention.
