Got to feel pretty sickening to be Jeff at the moment too.
Okay, so Impact just popped its best rating to date.
On the other hand, you're now in an angle where you're being portrayed as being a power-hungry millstone around the neck of the promotion, always holding the company back from greatness and burying talent. The affair with Karen, much to your bewilderment, cost you your power in the company and now someone else is running it without your say-so, who can also book herself giving you a public dressing-down about it.
Have to think some of this is hitting a little too close to the heart for Jeff, even with the 'it's all a work' attitude in wrestling.

Well, Jarrett certainly changed roles in a week...

They laid it on kind of thick this week. I guess they really want to show what side to root for.

It's one thing to have Jarrett as an egotistical heel.
It's entirely another to have a multi-time world champion, who is still a very capable wrestler, who "took TNA to Hogan" in Japan, literally hiding behind a lawyer.
That was just embarassing, for Jarrett and TNA in general.

im not going to read the four page thread..all im going to say is i thought this segment was terrible...it feels like everybody is fumbling over lines..talking over people etc...when im sitting watching just hoping nobody messes up thats bad...do they pretape these segments before the live crowd is even there or do they do them during the "live" show? if they tape them i dont understand why they cant retape and make it more crisp

Subtlety, thy name is TNA.
I repeat what I said at the start of this page, you've gotta have a tough skin to survive long as a pro wrestler but this Oilcan Harry routine Jarrett now has to do must feel a bit of a dagger in the back.

I loved the promo. A lot came from it and it looked very real which always works for me. I would not mind this leading to Hogan V Jeff

Did you know that Jeff Jarrett founded TNA? It seems like he said something to that effect one, two, or thirty-seven times these past few weeks.
So are we to root for Hogan as the person fending off a bitter old man that can't let go of his spot? That's snorking lunacy.

Jeff always talks about how he founded TNA and Hogan is correct nobody cares, I also reckon Hogan feels good when he says things like this because Jeff made his job hard in WCW along with Russo look how times change

Yeah, TNA definitely pulled some retcon last night. On the Jan 4 episode, Jarrett talked about all the talented young guys in TNA and said that Beer Money was the greatest tag team in all of wrestling. Now, Jarrett says that the TNA roster doesn't have enough talent to fill a coffee cup.
I suppose Jarrett could come out and say he was just pandering to the crowd when he said how talented the TNA guys are, but he never really felt that way. I don't know.

This weeks segment was embarrassing.
Their timing was off and parts didn't even make sense, JJ was especially bad.
